Yep. Tom was thinking "I'll hold on to this one just a while longer." Disgusting pervert

I don't remember who played M.J. in the video. I thought the song was about something else.

Not sure, but looks like Kim Basinger.

James is correct, Kim Basinger plays Mary Jane.
Out of curiosity, does anyone know how it was that a song about smoking weed got turned into a music video about necrophilia?

I was wondering the same thing.
At first I thought it might be something like "White Wedding", where a song about cocaine use gets shot as a wedding ceremony to cover up the inuendo. But smoking a joint doesn't seem anywhere near as bad as taking indecent liberties with a corpse. So did the director have a secret life?
Wikipedia says: Asked if the song was about drugs,[5] Heartbreaker guitarist Mike Campbell said, "In the verse there is still the thing about an Indiana girl on an Indiana night, just when it gets to the chorus he had the presence of mind to give it a deeper meaning. My take on it is it can be whatever you want it to be. A lot of people think it's a drug reference, and if that's what you want to think, it very well could be, but it could also just be a goodbye love song." In the rest of the interview, Campbell said that the song was originally titled "Indiana Girl" and the first chorus "Hey, Indiana Girl, go out and find the world." He went on to say that their producer, Rick Rubin did not agree singing about "hey, Indiana Girl," so Rubin changed it a week later.[6]

Nice! Now I want to read Dr. Sleep.
llibrro wrote: "Now I just feel horrible: I killed Mary Jane. I'm a terrible, terrible person."I think the video is the responsible party.

I have listened to that song so many times in my life and I never realised that it wasn't about a wedding. Brb, currently banging my head against my desk saying 'Doh!' Homer Simpson style.

Hhmmm, good question. I'll have to think about that. Matthew, any ideas?
I was going to suggest Framaja = Francesca/Matthew/Janie, but I like your suggestion better, Ekel! :)

Of course it is! It's open to anyone and everyone that loves to ruin songs.
Also, I love that song! Let's destroy it!

Good stuff.....although I'm still partial to Black Brick Road.

That would be an interesting song to cover.

That just made it creepier.
Carl Douglas - Kung Fu FightingIt might make a good opener for The Necro Bunnies of Doom, especially with good choreography.
