A masterpiece. While Treasure is the most beautiful album, Victorialand is the most ethereal and oterworldly.
Draconian - Sovran

Oh yeah, a favorite of mine. 1 of only 2 studio albums if I remember right(?).
So many incredible songs on this one, and not a dud on the album imo.
Nice to see you mention this one :]

I haven't heard too much by them, I listen to online radio while at work and that song was on. They definitely have a great sound!

I have always liked what I heard from this band, but never took the next step. Which album of theirs should I start with?

My husband's band played a show with these guys years ago!

Seriously? That's fantastic - I love this band, and the MC5 - big respect to your rocking other half!

I was sitting on a bank on the bus station. I cannot remember quite well if I was listening to music or not, but if I did, it must have been Nevermind the Bollocks by the Sex Pistols.

Baptism - Grim Arts of Melancholy

I was sitting in the middle of my high school football field with my best friend listening to Jackson Browne's Hold Out on his portable cassette player and he was telling me about how the song "Of Missing Persons" was written for Lowell George's daughter after he overdosed. I didn't inhale, of course, so I'm not sure why I thought that was so fascinating.

I bought a few from an older kid in school and locked myself away in the garden shed with Dio's Holy Diver on full blast - eventually the overpowering stench of beef forced me out of my hideaway and into the sickening realisation I had been sold nothing more illicit than a couple of stock cubes. Even now gravy gives me the munchies.
