Best album, followed by Last Fair Deal Gone Down.

I'm ready to be shamed -- I got back into HIM recently. Their song "Venus Doom" has Valo singing a part in a very demonic sounding bass range that reminds me of a song I heard from Lumsk's album Troll. I basically just live for this now.

We all listen to different kinds of music - the more diversity the better!
Janie wrote: "Tom Waits - Rain Dogs"Great choice Janie. You know what a "Rain Dog" is? I'm sure you do but just in case.
Matthew wrote: "Rain Dogs a classic! I know what it means :)"I see one now and then and it's really sad.

Diabolique - Discography
Swedish Gothic Metal with Kristian "Necrolord" Wåhlin on the vocals and the guitar. Wåhlin did the cover art for many great and legendary bands like Dissection, Lake of Tears and Bathory, but I never checked out his musical skills, beside Grotesque and his (awesome) vocal work on Nokturnal Mortum's cover of Nights in White Satin:

If you haven't heard and are interested and if you're lucky enough to be in the UK, BBC is showing a special program(me) on the life and music of David Bowie [David Bowie: Sound and Vision], presented by Jeremy Vine: "Bowie was one of the most influential musicians of his time, constantly re-inventing his persona and sound, from the 1960s hippy of Space Oddity, through Ziggy Stardust and the Thin White Duke to his later incarnation as a soulful rocker."

-- THE KEITH EMERSON TRIO - "THE KEITH EMERSON TRIO"Long lost THE KEITH EMERSON TRIO recordings made in Keith’s parents’ living room in 1963 when he was a teenager. --
I have a bad habit of listening to one song over and over until I've extracted every single ounce of enjoyment I can from it before moving on. Never to visit that song again for at least a year. And that song, just now, is Tricky's 'Evolution, Revolution, Love', which sounds like the theme for the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.
