Hellboy with Ron Perlman uses it well.
I think I associate it with a character in my story because, not only does it physically describe him, it's also how the narrator looks at the one in question: he's a god, he's a man, he's a guru, a tall handsome man with a red right hand.
That song is so perfect for Hellboy.

I love Cryptonaut. I love their weird, one-off, wtf stories.
My first Cryptid Crate was the Headless Horror. I got a t-shirt and cookie cutter. I need to collect up some more paranormal cookie cutters and make "monster noodle soup."
