Raw Slavonic Pagan Black Metal from Croatia. I have to admit that I am less than impressed. There was a time one could discover amazing new extreme metal bands on a weekly or even daily basis. Perhaps it is just me, but it seems that those genres are a bit boring at the moment.

Which Black and Thrash Metal bands do you listen to, Krystian?
The last record I've listened to today was "Blood of the Hermit" by Finland's Mortualia:

If I were to be hit by a bus, waking up after a year long coma to find that the driver was the smelly kid who used to bully me at school and that he had subsequently stolen my girlfriend who had paid him to arrange my 'accident' in the first place; if I were to find out that the doctor who performed my surgery had left a cuff-link in my gut that was making its inoperable way, like an expensively engraved time-bomb, toward my heart; if I were also to discover the night-shift nurses had rented out my comatose body to a local ring of sexual deviants who then had the gall to give me a meager one star review on their Vegetating Vessels website, then I would play this and it would cheer me up. That's how good this is.

Mark E Smith - Rip
Gutted to hear of his death this morning. A pissed up shaman - a surreal blend of Bukowski, Burroughs, William Gibson and Wurzel Gummidge. A true original - there will never be another Mark E Smith. In a conformist world where we are routinely offered the mediocre and the bland, we have just lost a bitter antidote.
