LOL, I wasn't commenting on your pick. Those are part of the lyrics. Both of your choices were great! :)
Yeah, I figured. I just wanted to make sure there wasn't a double meaning in your quote of the song lyrics. ;) Peace!
But here's another, and of a different genre again: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dCe0T...

It is. Inspired me to spend months on making 2 podcast/mixtape tributes that were released on my now dead blog. I plan to re-up them this upcoming year sometime. Got good feedback the first time and hope for more second time around.
Virgin Suicides is no doubt downbeat but it created a whole style of fashion iconography and an entire sub-genre of Indie Pop and Electronica, and influenced a whole wave of movies similar in tone like Water Lillies (Naissance des Pieuvres), Mustang, The Moth Diaries, Pretty Persuasion, etc., not to mention the numerous books it influenced. I'm a fan of it all.

Heartless Bastards - Gates Of DawnI can't go longer than a week without listening to Erika Wennerstrom's voice - then again, I can't go longer than a few hours without a cigarette

Television - Marquee MoonLittle known fact - shortly before becoming Iron Maiden's much loved mascot 'Eddie', Miley Cyrus played Hungarian ass flute on this seminal album. Shame on you if you dismissed her as a talentless little balloon head.
