Yes, I tracked down most of it over the years, to have better quality versions. However, as you know, some of it was composed by Wendy (formerly, Walter) Carlos. I love Wendy's re-worked compositions, especially for A Clockwork Orange, The Shining, and Tron -and think they were a huge influence on 80's synthpop and post 1998 electronica, indie pop, and synthwave (from Air to Life & Limb).

Nice! Since you are a Mogwai fan, give a listen to Metavari's Ambling EP & Be One of Us and Hear No Noise album -could be defined as a more laid back Mogwai with acoustic guitars and subdued glitch drums added. And the songs aren't like 12 minutes long like Mogwai and other post-rock! :D

Oh, that makes me very happy to hear! I heard their Ambling EP when it was first released and became an instant fan. I made the mistake of not buying it on cd (I'm a collector) and saw it go for as high as $300. Luckily, I was persistent enough to eventually swoop it up for $10 by a seller who didn't know better!! Anywayz. They've become more electronica over the years and dropped their guitars but I like everything they've put out. I spoke to one of the band members and he's very nice (and told me he doesn't even own a copy of their first release himself and couldn't believe I found it for $10! :D

I'm not really sure what started it, but I've been into the Dead Kennedys a lot for the past few weeks.

*Nyles and I hit it off so well after the show, we mentioned working on writing some songs together.
