I agree with Ekel.

Sweet!
Hey Bill, since you like Nico -if you don't mind a bit of Indie Pop and/or Electronica, give a listen to these:
1. Anika - Anika (2010) *she writes some of her own songs but, in addition, she does some cool covers (of Bob Dylan & Yoko Ono) on this debut release. Style: New Wave/Dub/Post-punk.
2. HTRK - Work (Work, Work) (2011) *Style: Noise Pop/Indietronica/Post-punk.
3. Die Goldenen Zitronen feat. Michaela Melian - song: Beautiful People (2009) *Style: Indietronica/Avant-garde/Post-punk.
**You like a lot of different stuff so it's probably unnecessary to state the obvious that some of this might be challenging on 1st listen. Most of what I listen to has a Minimal approach to the songwriting and instrumentation, so nothing overcooked except maybe the synthwork (which is what I love most so I'm good!).

Sweet!

Thanks for the recommendations, Michael. I'll give them a listen and get back to you.

I didn't either, until yesterday, when I went to Allmusic.com - which is a great site for music reviews, genre rec's, keeping track of artists, etc. - and was shocked to see the words, "New David Bowie album"(!)
**You know what else is a pretty cool David Bowie collectible if u don't have it -Vampires In Human Flesh - which has many alternative outtakes/different recordings of the Scary Monsters album. I don't think there's a cd version of it but I think u could find a torrent of it and some guy has (had?) a blog u could download it from.
LONG LIVE DAVID BOWIE! :)

F*ck yeah Cannibal Corpse!!!

Good choice. So many to choose from. I've always been fond of "Wedding Bell Blues"...for some reason. ;-)
This is one of my favorites:
