Yes! That's a great album, Bicho!

No, Janie. I'm not much of a concert goer these days (too old?). I just love the fact that these bands and their music are still around after all these years. But this may be their last hurrah. Just being sentimental I guess.

I'm not much of a concert goer either, Bill (too tired). It is good to hear all those old tunes again, though.

His best work, period. I've been a fan of his forever though I don't like everything by him. Sometimes he overdoes the whole bleak thing but The Kingdom won me over immediately.
It's interesting to know that Lars von Trier openly admitted to borrowing the 'little girl ghost with bouncing ball'-idea from Mario Bava's Operazione Paura (aka Kill, Baby, Kill) & Fellini's short film sequence, Toby Dammit (from Spirits of the Dead), which I think is very cool.

*who I saw last night at The Independent in San Francisco. I was all ready to pay to see them but got free tickets right before the show. They were fantastic and dreamy live.

Never saw the US version of Riget, but enjoyed the original very much. It's funny, I do think him a bit mad and I would never spontaneously name him anywhere near a favorite director/filmmaker, but when I think about it, I both love and admire most of what he's done; certainly Antichrist, but also Melancholia, Dogville & Manderley, Dancer in the Dark and Breaking the Waves. I guess it's Europa and The Idiots I care less for (and haven't seen Nymphomaniac...).
