That is a really cool (album cover?) painting. I like when y'all add pics to comments! :)

Been wanting to see that. If you want some gruesome freaky horror watch "Bas..."
Thnx, Thomas! I guess I do know my movies, books, and music pretty dang well! (and couldn't find a way to say that without sounding like a pompous know-it-all haha!). If you or anyone ever want me to make a long list lemme know...and my bad on the late response! As Luther says in 48 Hours, "I've been busy!" :D

Thank you, Bill! I am positive I will watch every single one of your recommendations (eventually!). I'm a horror movie freak! -- and I like all types of horror...atmospheric, slashers, body horror, ghost stories, horror comedies, and most especially, foreign horror films.
Keep 'em coming, Bill! (AND Bicho!) :)

You're welcome, Michael. I watch more than I read. The list I left earlier has some of my favorites from recent memory. They all tend to be independent, low budget, and some are foreign. Also, I apologize for posting movie stuff in this thread, but this is where most my friends are and you're all open-minded, so I talk about stuff other than music and ramble about random stuff.
This week I watched "Don't Breathe," "The Neon Demon," and "The Shallows." Of those, The I like The Neon Demon Best.
As far as foreign goes, "Let The Right One In" is a favorite, "Audition" (you've probably seen), "Inside", "Martyrs" (damaged me for life), "The Silent House" (American version is good too.), "Babadook", "Frankenstein's Army" (loved it), "Troll Hunter", "Imprint" from the Showtime Masters of Horror Series (It's in English but Japanese horror), "Irreversible", Dario Argento movies in general, "Funny Games" (but I preferred the American version because I love Naomi Watts), "Berberian Sound Studio" "Dog Soldiers" "Ravenous", "A Serbian Film" (maybe) ;That's all I can think of for the moment. I didn't really include Foreign films in English.

I have some Henckel Knives and their awesome. Fine German steel.

How about "Calvaire?"

Calvaire is one I haven't seen. You recommend no doubt?

It will fit in nicely with your list.

"'Shrooms" from UK and Denmark."
My list is getting out of control! :)

I like the occasional visual too. That's a painting by the English artist David Hockney.

And it's good to hear Brian Jonestown Massacre again. I need more of their stuff.

Yeah, me too. There was this video store called Video Magic that used to carry all these obscure horror movies in VHS format. Films like Basket Case, Re-Animator, Brain Damage, Dead Alive, several Dario Argnto films (edited unfortunately), some Mario Bava, Fulci, Soavi, Troma films, C.H.U.D., Street Trash, underrated slashers, Thou Shalt Not Kill Except, and a slew of others. And strange sci-fi like Liquid Sky, and old b&w films like Universal Pictures stuff, etc. For $1 - $2 each! That was like 25% of my education back then! ;)

Yup, those are the ones I was talking about! :-) Nightmare in a Damaged Brain, The Anthropophagus Beast, the 'cannibal'-ones, "Warhol's" Frankenstein and Dracula, Last house on the left, House on the Edge of the Park, the Greek(!) Island of Death...

"A Sailor's Guide to Earth" is an excellent album.
Sturgill Simpson - Brace for Impact

The track, and the forthcoming album, is accompanied by artwork created by UK comic artist Mark "Bucky" Buckingham
