I bought this cassette and a brand new top of the line Pioneer stereo for my brand new used VW Rabbit and it was a dream.

*Thomas, this one's for you -I wouldn't say it's a Mazzy Star clone but close enough to be compared to. Shocking Pinks are awesome, half instrumental, half vocal (a guy for the most part) combining elements of Indie Rock, Lo-fi, Dream Pop, and a touch of Punk edge to their music though not Punk overall whatsoever.

Okay, so I visited the Saltair Pavilion III in Salt Lake City last week. It was nothing special, but since I'm a card-carrying HA and fan of the movie "Carnival of Souls," and was in the area, I stopped by to look at the place. It's only purpose currently seems to be that of a concert venue for small shows and a gift shop. I was rather impressed with some of the bands playing there in the coming days and weeks including Deftones, Megadeth, Amon Amarth, Metal Church, and Rave of Thrones featuring Kristian Nairn aka Hodor. One rather disturbing feature of the place was that it appears to be made mostly of wood. I asked the shopkeeper as I was leaving if the band Great White was scheduled to play there anytime soon and he seemed to think it was likely. I suggested he call in sick that day.
