what are you currently listening to?

Dang, Bill, you're knocking 'em out of the park. Though, I love his new stuff (like the one he did with Flume) this will probably always be my favorite by him. Good choice!

Was one of my theme albums the year I lived in Georgia. A classic."
Lots of talent came from Uncle Tupelo. Son Volt's Trace was a theme album of mine from my years in Missouri. The river flooded the town of St. Genevieve in 93 and Jay Farrar wrote Tear- Stained Eye in tribute. Was surreal driving through there while listening to that song.

Sounds like an experience never to be forgotten.

I had to think of the late Bud Spencer. "Thank you!' where his last words.

But before I could get to the station in my pickup truck
She got run'd over by a damned ol' train

From the album Hurricane, a song about the life and death of mobster Joey Gallo, who was killed on his birthday at Umberto's Clam House in Little Italy.

Great choice. I love the album cover."
I thought you might. The cover art, featuring Giorgio de Chirico's The Seer, was meant to appeal to "the intellectual and bohemian," like you. That sounds familiar.

I don't know about the intellectual or bohemian part, but I do like de Chirico. :)

I like his "Mystery and Melancholy of a Street." There's something spooky about it. What is that shadow at the top? But I didn't realize he was the artist until I looked it up. I recognize the work, but didn't know the artist. Guess I'm not intellectual or bohemian either, whatever that means.
