This will always be DEP at their peak to me. Metal was getting pretty stale at this point in time (nu-metal was getting way more cred than it ever
deserved) and they were such a breath of fresh air.

I saw their first SoCal show in 1998 at the Troubador in Holywood and I was blown away. So many people were confused and pissed off. My only thought was that it was insanity and high art in musical form. I was a changed man.

Creativity combined with chaos can produce some amazing sounds. It's always invigorating to hear something bold and new.

Gotta love some Voivod! One of those bands that really grew into something unique among the vast multitude of thrash bands in the 80's.
