I hadn't listened to them in years but read an article that they were playing live, locally, listened to their 1st album - the sole album they will be performing - and got pumped up enough to go. But. I don't think I can make it to the show after all. Wish I could. Evidently, they have a new album in the works and named 'Trees' as a song to check out (but I don't think it's out yet).

Yeah, The Cure were either just here or will be. I had high hopes to see them this time around but it didn't work out. Luckily, I've seen them 7 times before. Sorry to hear you they weren't close enough for you to see them. The original shoegazers. Literally! :)
