Thanks, Stephen. I like these guys.

Brings to mind Paul Rodgers and Bad Company for some reason.

YES!

There will always be a bit of nostalgia for Chaos A.D. I did not like it when it first came out but it definitely grew on me.

That's how I feel about this one:

Do you ever listen to bands like Chaos UK, or Blanks 77?
Nope, I rather stick to Cockney Rejects, Cock Sparrer and the Angelic Upstarts, but for no particular reason. I guess I should check Chaos UK out?

Yeah, they're a great punk band. Another good band is Slaughter and the Dogs, great stuff to blast out the car windows on a road trip.

Drella was Andy's nickname, which came from Dracula and Cinderella. Anybody see Warhol's Dracula and Frankenstein? Starring the great Udo Kier

Hell yes, very very weird and unmissable movies!
Siouxie & the Banshees - The Passenger
Bathory - Under the Sign of the Black Mark
Today will be Bathory day. Bathory, the band that pioneered not only one, but two metal genres.

I'll second that motion and it could be argued that Quorthon not only influenced black metal and viking metal bands, but death metal as well. I doubt Deicide would have used such warped shrieks alongside the more typical guttural vocals if it weren't for Bathory. Also always loved that album title, 'Under the Sign of the Black Mark', what does that even mean? It doesn't matter, as long as it sounds metal and satanic as fuck.
