Oh, Fantomas - good choice! As for the Deftones' new album, I love it. As someone posted on Youtube, the one thing this band sucks at is sucking.

Ray Davies you're a sick bastard...or are you just an artist? Humbert Humbert? Edgar Degas? Peewee Herman? Anyway, on the subject of art and non sequiturs, I watched the movie "Luciferous" last evening and was intrigued by some of the art that appeared in the victims' home. One in particular you can see in the trailer at the 1:39 and 1:47 marks: https://youtu.be/fBVe-lMqTHY. I believe it would be an example of a trompe l'oeil. There's also a very disturbing ceramic mask that appears throughout, and in the trailer, as well as a large unsettling painting (1:45) that hangs on the wall and brings to mind something you might expect from Gustav Klimt's interpretation of Christ on the cross. There is a list of artwork that appears in the credits, but I wasn't able to track any of them down in the couple minutes I spent. Apparently some of the art belongs to the directors. As far as the film goes, I personally enjoyed it and would recommend for HAs. Normal people might not like it. It certainly has a wft ending. You can watch it for $5 on Amazon. If anyone happens upon an image of the mask/woman please point me in that direction.

Hunchback in a hammock? If I have a really big hunchback then it would drag the ground and I wouldn't rock at all...unless I had a really tall hammock, or a special hammock made just for hunchbacks. Stephen, do you make these things up, or is this some sort of Northern Irish witticism that's over my 'Merican head?

Let's blame it on potent Ulster cider - regardless of lumpy backs and gravity, the sentiment remains the same (as Zep would no doubt agree).
Sadomator - Goatblood Panspermia

These guys can't make a bad album. :)"
