I was just a taggin' fool on Amazon. Those writers who did not have tags. I added some for you. If there are any particular tags that you wish for me to add for you, please let me know.
If anyone has a free moment, please consider tagging our "Under the Radar" authors on Amazon. It took me about 2 minutes.

I have gone ahead and also tagged all the books in the group's bookshelf. But if anyone really wants to dramatically increase their tag score, you should visit Todd Fonseca's Tag My Book On Amazon site. It's a very professionally operated site that has uses networking to increase your tag score. I invite everyone to check it out. Here's the link:http://tagmybookonamazon.wordpress.com/
That's a huge help, Kevis. I often stare at books and realize my brain is so completely blank, even chocolate won't help.

Unfortunately, brain drain is one of the hazards of our occupation. :(
It seems to only happen when faced with the "How to tag" dilemma. I like the TMBOM site, but without a direct link to the books we're trying to tag, seems a bit cumbersome. My time's SO limited -- I'm barely keeping on top of my day-to-day stuff this summer, with the kids home -- that I need those direct links. Pathetic of me, I know. But yes, I'm THIS overwhelmed.
Susan,Thomma's right. All you have to do is to click on book covers to go to each respective book's sales page. In fact, you don't even have to bother typing in the 3 suggested tags. Simply click on as many tags as you like and then move on to the next book. The great thing about the way the site works, you don't have to tag every book on your first visit. All you have to do is to tag the books at your own pace. Meaning if you only feel like tagging one book a day that's fine. I found that it was very effective for me to tag one months book per visit to the site. That helped to break up the monotony of tagging.

Tagging an author's book allows the book to gain more visibility within the tagged genre. Let's say a reader is interested in finding a love story. They can go to Amazon, for example, and in the search section, type in “love story.” This search will then bring them to the entire list of products classified under the "love story" category. Most likely there will be anywhere in the range of 2,000-15,000 products tagged as such, so how does an author make it to the first page of this list? Reader tags!
Books tagged with many keywords pertaining to genre, author, style, content etc… gain visibility within multiple categories, which is great!
General tags like “fiction” don’t always have as much of a result as do the more specific tags such as, “teen drama,” “existential fiction,” “tearjerker,” and “literary fiction,” to name a few.
An author like Nicholas Sparks will be at the top of the “love story” category with "The Notebook," as will "Pride and Prejudice," "Romeo and Juliet" etc... The goal is for authors to get as close to the top of that list as possible, because it is ideal to be seen near the most popular books, and then with hope, purchased.
It takes two seconds for a loyal reader to tag a book. Amazon members can click on tags that have already been associated with the book by other readers, or they can create new tags. Every time the author’s book gets tagged, it gains one more point within that tagged category. As the points accumulate, the book moves up throughout the category, gaining the potential for more exposure due to the increased placement within the category.
Put it this way…as an author, would you rather be on the first page or the last page out of 15,000 items? As a reader, would you prefer to sort through thousands of entries or maybe just 1-2 pages worth?
So, get to tagging guys and gals! Help market your favorite authors, old and new!
