What would you do if your mother left you? In the book HUGGING THE ROCK by Susan Taylor Brown a teen age girl, Rachel, is left by her mother. "I'm sorry mom. I'm sorry please don't go." I really enjoyed reading this book and I would recommend it to teenagers 11-13 or people who like to read about realistic fiction. A book similar to this one is ONE OF THOSE SAD BOOK WHERE THE MOTHER DIES where the character too, loose her mother.
