Looking for: Vampire in Space story

I am looking for a book. I have read an excerpt of it in other books I have read. I would now like to read it.

Its about a female who was a slave to a vampire (blood slave?). This vampire died (not sure if she was the one who killed him or watched his killing).

She is being chased through a space station jumping over tables and such, trying to get away from this guy who is some sort of assassin, potentially a vampire himself. It may be that he was the one who killed the Vampire and she was a witness to the deed.

In the end the two fall in love with one another as he obviously catches her.

I thought I saved it in my lists here on Goodreads or on Amazon, but cannot find it anymore.

Does anyone know the title or authors name of this story/book?

Deadly Pursuit Nina Croft has an entire series with a vampire space craft captain. I read the short (old) version of the first one and it was so good that when she revised into a full length novel I bought it and it's sequel too.
