Avis has long auburn hair. No, it's not really red, although it may appear that way, but it's not quite brown, either. It's somewhere in between and falls to the middle of her back- and that's when it's wavy. When it's completely straight, Avis' hair almost falls to her butt. She has an interesting pattern of freckles, they dot the left side of her face heavily, but barely touch the right. She has pale, ivory skin and prefers the shade to the sun, as it burns quite easily. Avis has deep chocolate brown eyes dotted with flecks of gold and grey, giving her eyes a kaleidoscope effect, seeming to go on forever. She was blessed with naturally long, dark eyelashes and slanting eyebrows that match her hair. She has thick, pouty-seeming lips that turn down naturally. This doesn't mean that she is always frowning, but she does often look both sad and thoughtful. She is fairly tall, standing at 6'0" and has a quiet voice, although she can get very loud if she so wishes. She always stands with perfect posture and walks with confidence, always looking straight ahead.

Personality: Avis is the kind of person who likes to blend into the shadows, although her good looks and need to fight for what's right don't always help with that. No, despite all of Avis' wishes she seems to find herself at the centre of attention, feeling cramped and uncomfortable. She is brave, but has many fears. What really makes her brave is her determination and willingness to face down her fears, until the end. Avis has a love of coffee and has a hard time waking up without it. She is quite irritable when forced to go without it, due to a slight coffee addiction. When she is mad, she tends to forgo any of her normal personality, being loud and even obnoxious. It's a very good thing, in her mind, that she doesn't get irritable often.
History: Avis was born in the year 1908, to parents Will and Katrina Ray in London, England. She had a fine childhood, they never had money or food problems. It was when she started to get older that the problems started for her. She attracted a lot of attention from men- unwanted attention, and too much of it, at least in her opinion. When she was seventeen, her friend Jackson started following her late one night. She was getting an odd feeling from him, he was very drunk, and she started walking faster, hoping to get rid of him. It didn't work. He attempted to assault her, shoving her against a wall. It was then when she saw her one opportunity. A car was passing by, and preferring death to that kind of violation, she shoved Jackson away from herself and leapt underneath it. The council gave her a second life as a Lost, and she kind of hates them for it. She would never say that, of course, but she wanted a clean end. Now she didn't get one, and will never see her family in the heaven she still believes in.

Avis fights with throwing knives and hand-defence knives. She treats any throwing knives as expendable, as they are often lost once they are thrown. She treasures, however, her fighting knives and would be deeply hurt if ever she were to lose them. They're almost as important to her as her ring.

Avis' ring was her engagement ring, as she was about to be married when she was assaulted by Jackson and died when hit by a car. She misses hr fiancee deeply and hasn't truly gotten over him. She still wears the ring, as a reminder of this.

[History] On september third, nineteen years ago, Kalinda was born to parents Diana and Samuel Mayer. She was the second child, the first being her brother Jackson, two years older, and three years later they would both have a new sister. Jackson and Kalinda were very similar, and they always spent time together as children. They grew up in a not so kid friendly place, so they had their own fun while inside the house. History:

Jeremy wasn’t willing to be out of the closet about how he was attracted to men, so he did his best to keep it hidden. As a result, he became the socially awkward quiet cute guy that girls seemed to feel sorry for and always try to talk to in middle school. The only problem was that once they talked to him, they soon wanted his number, then to hang out, then to have intercourse. Jeremy felt like it wasn’t within him to say no to any one, so began to ignore people in general. Things got worse when he got to high school.

Jeremy was picked on for how much he cared about how he looked, then one guy who was quite literally the most troubled and easily angered guy in the school began to blame Jeremy for all of his mistakes. His name was Brandon, and he didn’t just call Jeremy names. Brandon made it a regular habit to hurt, embarrass, and humiliate Jeremy in every way possible. Jeremy coulnd’t find it in him to confess to any of the teachers since they would only make things worse, and everyone else would call Jeremy a pussy.

Jeremy soon learned that his father who had been a marine in the united states military recently perished. Of course, Jeremy’s mother was given a flag, and Jeremy was given his father’s dog tags. Going back to school for Jeremy was numbing, and at that point, he could care less about what Brandon did to him. One day, Brandon ending up pushing Jeremy to his breaking point, and Jeremy suddenly snapped and he punched Brandon in the jaw. Brandon was stunned at first, and Jeremy immediately felt shock and terror creep up on him. Jeremy had never once fought back against Brandon and Brandon still picked on him. Now, he had a reason to do. To his surprise, Brandon did nothing. He only walked away from Jeremy.

Jeremy was walking home after school. His mother couldn’t give him a ride home since she was working in the next town over, and wouldn’t be back home till later that night. Someone suddenly came up behind Jeremy, and pressed a rag over his nose and mouth. Jeremy’s arms flailed out as he tried to pry the person away from them when they pulled Jeremy close to their body. Jeremy immediately knew that it was a man, but he hadn’t been expecting for the voice that told him to “Shut the f*** up” to belong to Brandon. Jeremy passed out from the chloroform, and his body fell limp in Brandon’s arms.

What happened to Jeremy after that, has long since given him nightmares, and chills even though he is already dead. Brandon had brought Jeremy back to what Jeremy assumed was his house. Brandon had hurt Jeremy repeatedly, hitting and kicking him and calling him all sorts of names. Jeremy never saw why he couldn’t move his arms or legs, but he could still feel the pain that ate away at his body. Brandon continued to tell Jeremy how he’d been trying to control his anger, and that he was beginning to make a break through when Jeremy screwed everything up for him by punching him in the nose.

Brandon said that he wanted Jeremy dead, but he wouldn’t let Jeremy die a virgin.

Not wanting to dispute orders, he went ahead and commited the crime. Near the end of the war, and after several more of these dark escapades, he was captured and shot by the Russian soldiers, as were many German officers.

History: Haylee grew up in a place that probably wasnt the best for a childhood. Her parents were on the verge of getting separated and her dad was the only person who really made sense anymore. Haylee trusted her dad and went to live with him when her parents finally got divorced. A few weeks after the divorce was finalized, her dad started taking advantage of her and Haylee grew uncomfortable with the unwanted attention. She tried to run but her dad brought her back and showed her what would happen each time she ran. Haylee started planning in secret of when and how to run away fr the last time. SHe escaped in the middle of the night with er little sister Lydia, but when her dad found out he took off after them. He found them hiding out in a little run down motel room trying to get ready to leave. When Haylee left to returnt the room key, her dad locked the door with Lydia still inside and set the room on fire. The whole motel burned down that night and her sister died while trying to escape out the window. Haylee tried to rescue her sister but didn't come out alive from the building. To this day she still has the scars of that fire to remind her of her sister.
