After reading it, I first cried on how wonderful the stories were and then it opened my eyes and I saw my son in a different light and had a better understanding of who he was.
I bought and read this book because my nephew has autism. It doesn't seem to be as strong a case as the young man that wrote this book. However, I felt it was insightful.I think seeing autism from the perspective of one who lives it strengthens not just awareness, but more compassion and sympathy, and definitely patience!
I'm already recommending this book as a resource. :)
