After a car accident which leaves the father dead and the mother in a coma, two children are sent to live with their grandmother in the mountains of WV. There's no modern conveniences and a coal mining company is trying to get the grandmothers land. One child is named Diamond and there's another character called "hell no ". Its a bit of a mystery but mostly just a heartfelt, clean read. Ring any bells?
