1% (view spoiler)[I am really liking things so far. I felt that the opening scene was very emotional and graphic. It really pulled me into the story. The scenes where Amy is frozen but thinking out loud make my claustrophobia go crazy. I couldn't imagine the feeling. I haven't made up my mind about Eldest yet. I don't really have a vibe off of him for good or for bad, so we'll see. (hide spoiler)]

27% (view spoiler)[Okay, so I really want to know who woke Amy up. And why would they do it? No one that is awake on the ship would know her. It seems moot. Orion is the obvious suspect. I haven't truly made up my mind about how I feel about him yet. And if he really is Elder's biological father, as Elder is starting to suspect, what does that mean about his place in the story?

I admit that Elder's initial fascination with Amy was a bit on the creepy side. Now that she is awake, he seems to genuinely want to make sure that she is okay.

There is so much mystery in this story that I can't make up my mind about anyone. I can't tell what hardly anyone's agenda is, and whether it is for good or for bad. Eldest is quite the mystery to me.

Doc really feels genuine to me. I think that he wants to help people, although I am not sure why I feel this way about him. He was in the cryo chamber messing with the frozen people earlier. Who is to say that he was doing something good? (hide spoiler)]
