When would you like me to send you a reminder? If you want to run it to start Jan 1st, you should think about posting something no later than 3-5 days before then.PS: When posting your challenge(s), please create the challenge thread within the appropriate challenge folder. Each folder has a specific duration - monthlies, 2-6 months and 1 yr. Thanks! :D

Hi Steph,I'm already planning another Monster Mash this year. I can either do it independently of the monthly challenges or condense it down to 1 month and take October. Let me know which you think is best.
That's totally up to you. We love your MM challenges and are thrilled you continue to share them with us. So, whichever is most convenient for you works for us. :D Lemme know if you decide to go a 1-month challenge and I'll add ya to the calendar.

Running late this month, but I'm working on October's Monster Mash right now. Just finalizing a couple things.So ... what scares you?
No worries! Thanks for always thinking of us at Halloween :DWhat scares me? Not much, but one thing REALLY freaks me out. Scary clowns. Not Ronald McDonald, kid's party types, but Stephen King's IT and, I'm guessing, the upcoming American Horror Story type. The twisted thing is that I love being scared (old/classic horror movies are my favorite), so I will be watching every episode of AHS. I just might spend a bit of it curled in a ball with my fingers over my eyes. :D

I was wondering ~ In 2014, would any members be interested in creating a monthly or quarterly challenge for the group? You could choose a specific month or quarter to run your challenge, however we'd ask that there be minimal overlap to give everyone a chance to participate and not have them all hosted at the same time.
The theme of the challenge would be up to the creator. I only ask that they be relevant to our group theme (PNR, UF, SF&F series). I will post a sign-up sheet on this thread, in case anyone is interested, and add your name to the time frame you request. And, if you'd like, I can send you a PM reminder a month before it's scheduled to go live on the group.
The mods and I will continue to host our 4th annual mini challenges (Genre Juice & Cover Hunt), as well as random monthly, quarterly and yearly challenges. And, members who routinely create and share their challenges with the group are welcome to continue to doing so. We appreciate everyone's contributions and thank you for spending time with us at SOS!
