Glad to find this group. I've just released my 10th book - and this time it is a romance. At least that's what my good friend, a Mills & Boon fan, tells me. But another reader has mentioned that although it has a strong element of romance it has other elements as well, and she wouldn't know how to classify it, so hope I'm not here under false pretenses. :)

Hello all,I'm glad to be part of this group, I do enjoy a good romance, but not the sloppy/slushy type. I think in real life, romance can be a bit fraught! My debut novel Beware the 7th Wave is due for publication next month, I'm not sure if it is a romance, although it comes in the category of romantic suspense. If anyone has a moment please take a look at the sample chapter on my website, comments would be welcome.
Best wishes

Hi. I am a reader/blogger. My reading is all over the map. I love YA, Alpha Males, Awesome Angst, Southern chick lit, and hot, heavy, dark romances. I review, beta, and do graphic work for authors. Let's fangirl over our favorite reads!
A warm waving from Germany to all of you! I´m happy to have found this romance reading and writing group, and I hope, my English will be good enough for you... :)I love to read contemporary romances and historical romances, especially from the regency period. And I think I like romantic novels with an adventurous twist as well. Atm I read 'The Eight' by Katherine Neville.
Writing romance is a lot of fun and hard work too. My writing is in German, my 1st selfpublished romance novel is a ~20k novella with setting on the island of Mauritius.
So much from me, have a great day / evening!
Anne
