There's two booster/expansion packs for 'Firefly: The Game' Breaking Atmo' - http://www.amazon.com/Firefly-Game-Br...
and
Pirates & Bounty Hunters - http://www.amazon.com/Firefly-Pirates...
The newest expansion came out recently called Blue Sun. There is also some new ship dice coming out in November. I can't find any pictured of the dice though.http://www.amazon.com/Firefly-The-Gam...
I've been playing this for awhile, at least a year, and I am addicted. The expansions just make the game more challenging and competitive. I just got the Artful Dodge ship expansion and two more ship expansions are due out soon. The big news is the new Rim Expansion which will introduce new worlds to explore, new contacts to get jobs from, new gear to buy and new crew to recruit. If it's half as well done as the Blue Sun Rim Expansion it will be worth every penny. This is a really fun game. If you're worried about having a group to play with there are even solo-play rules. Every Browncoat should be enjoying this.
You can play solo? That's great! I should give it a go. Are the Esmeralda and Jetwash Ship expansion packs the ones you're talking about? I checked Amazon, they're available already.

Yep, and I've already order them. ;)
There are a couple of solo-play goals you can run. But using those solo-play rules you can develop your own scenarios once you learn the rules or modify the other scenarios for solo-play as well.
It is currently my favorite board game. ;)
I just got the new (second) rim expansion: Kalidasa. Haven't had a chance to play it yet. Looking forward to it.http://smile.amazon.com/dp/B013SFW91G...

From the product description: Players begin with a ship, and travel from planet to planet, hiring crew, purchasing ship upgrades, and picking up cargo to deliver (jobs) all in the form of cards. Some crew and cargo are illegal, and can be confiscated if your ship is boarded by an alliance vessel. Traveling from planet to planet requires turning over "full burn" cards, one for each space moved. Most do nothing, but you can also encounter an Alliance ship, have a breakdown, or even run into Reavers. Completing jobs gets you cash. First player to complete the story goals wins. ... Game description from the publisher: In Firefly: The Game - based on the popular Firefly television series created by Joss Whedon - players captain their own Firefly-class transport ship, traveling the 'Verse with a handpicked crew of fighters, mechanics and other travelers. As a captain desperate for work, players are compelled to take on any job - so long as it pays. Double-dealing employers, heavy-handed Alliance patrols, and marauding Reavers are all in a day's work for a ship's captain at the edge of the 'Verse. Firefly: The Game is a high-end thematic tabletop boardgame from Gale Force Nine (GF9) and the first in a series of tabletop hobby board games and miniatures games from GF9 set in the Firefly Universe.
I've never done this sort of tabletop gaming, but I'd love to give it a try , especially this one as it's set in the 'verse. Has anyone tried it yet? heard about it? What are your thoughts?
