Red was walking outside of his house. He usually walked around just in case there were intruders in his part of the woods.
Hex sat in a tree, she was watching a bird's nest and draw in the mother Bird sleeping on her eggs.
(We should put the powers of our characters *facepalm*)
Red was gripping his dagger with his hands. He was wondering around the forest trying to listen for any noise.

Hex finished the drawing and closed the sketchbook. She out both in her black backpack and watched the mama bird sleep soundly.
Red heard the clap of the sketch book as it closed. He looked into the direction but saw nothing. He slowly made his way to the sound.
Hex smiled slightly and she watched the birds breathing patterns. She planted her elbows on her knees and leaned her head on her hands, slightly cocked.
Red looked around from a distance. He spotted Hex on a tree. Most people knew not to wonder around Red's part of the woods. He decided she was new to the area and tried to approach nicely. "He-Hello?" He said softly.
Hex looked at him and stood up straight, looking at warily "yes?" she kept her hand near her pocket, where she kept her knife.
"Are you lost?" He asked putting his knife in his sheath put still having his hand on it.
Hex scrunched her eye brows. She wasn't lost, bloody hell she was never lost. "no. I know exactly where I am. Are YOU lost?" she said with fake concern
He sucked his teeth. He turned around obviously if he kept talking to this girl he would get angry and it might have escalated. But he couldnt stand leaving without saying something. He turned around wanting to say something but he was speechless.
Hex smirked "speechless? In from of a girl? Everyone says your a tough guy." she smiled and swung he legs back and forth.
Red was loosing his temper. He was letting this little girl get under his skin. He laughed at the thought of that. He grinned. "True." He said. "What are ya doing out here?" He asked.
Hex shrugged, she saw him moment of annoyance, she loved doing that. "maybe I live here. Or maybe I live over there" she pointed to her right with her left hand, elbow on thigh "or maybe over there" she pointed to the left doing the same thing "or maybe I live up there" she uncrossed her arms and pointed to the sky.
He shrugged. "Well get back to your house. Trust me you do not want to be here out during the night. It isnt safe." He said trying to to get ticked off at this girls answers.
Hex looked at him still smiling "who said anything was safe? An who said anything about me living in a house?"
Red sighed heavily. "Well where do you live?" He asked. At this point he was holding back his anger.
Hex shrugged and stopped smiling "somewhere over the rainbow meh friend. Somewhere over the rainbow." she said dreaming "now where do you live?"
"Um are you saying you dont have somewhere to stay?" He asked suddenly feeling bad. "I have a house a couple of minutes away from here why...?" he asked.
Hex shrugged and stood up on the thick branch, balancing easily "no reason. You asked me I asked you. Now if you excuse me I have BUSSINESS to attended to." she jumps straight up and grabbed another branch, she swung herself onto it and climbed higher into the tree.
"Well its getting like and like i said it gets dangerous here at night... do you wana stay in my place for the night?" He asked
Hex was already at the top "nope. I'm good. But thanks!" she strapped her backpack to limb and used a bungee cord to steal herself to a thick limb, Katniss style. She stuck her dagger right above her head for easy access.
He sighed. "Alright" he said to himself as he turned around. "I really do hope she finds somewhere to stay. The monsters here get released during the night... and there only so many i can kill..." he thought to himself.
Hex slept lightly, she knew what was coming and waited for it, planning for even a twig to snap ((you play the monsters =D))

As midnight approached Red got ready to go outside. He sighed. Another night of fighting, he thought. He grabbed his sword and walked outside. Instantly he was surrounded.
A group of monsters noticed Hex. She was to high for them to reach so they started planning to get her down.

Hex was still asleep, she needed deep sleep as she started dreaming. She realized she was dreaming and started celebrating.
Red looked around. He didnt see any threats so he didnt want to waste his energy using his sword. He snapped his fingers and disappeared. In less than a second he reappeared but all the monsters were on the floor cut up, missing body parts and dead.
The monsters started to slowly climb up the tree quietly and swiftly.

Hex heard claw marks and immediately woke up. She grabbed her dagger and untied her self from her 'bed' in less than two seconds. She grabbed her backpack and got multiple knives out. She threw one in each monsters neck.
The monsters plopped on the floor and disintegrated. Another group of monsters started to surround the tree.
Hex growled at them like an animal before hopping to the next tree.
One of the monsters being really fast climbed the tree as she jumped. Another group of monsters surround the tree and combined with the one from before.

Hex kept jumping from one branch to another. She kept doing this over and over again.
The group of monsters at the base of the tree soon turned into a horde chasing her tree after tree. The one monster that climbed on the tree wailed loudly. It was screeching for reinforcements.
Red heard the cry and cursed. Nights with those monsters always made him tired.

Hex laughed and kept jumping. "can't catch me now ya little mutts!" she never slowed down or tripped
A few trees in front of Hex hundreds and hundreds of monsters appeared. All of them, including the one behind her, screeched in harmony.
"Oi!" she yelled, then jumps to the tree in her right, resuming the run away.
The leader of the monsters came out of the group. He was larger than the rest. He sighed heavily. Shes getting away he thought. Then the leader flinched. Hex was going into a new territory. Worse than Red's. There it was a complete death zone. There was always death and no one could escape it, thats why most of the weak monsters stayed near Red, he was one of the only people who could handle the monsters that owned the place.
Hex didn't know where she was going and stopped when she saw they stopped

The leader wondered if she would move if they would continue their attack. He wanted the food for himself. The 'headhunters' always had to much to eat and he didnt want them feeding on anything that he found first. But one of the leaders minions foolishly took a step toward Hex and soon more followed.
Hex stood up and moved back away from them.
The dumb monster started running toward Hex. A lot of monsters followed. The leader roared and try to kill the ones running toward Hex but there were to many he couldnt stop the attack that had just started
Hex kept running away. Going diagonally she was able to avoid them AND get out of the forest in a few hours.
