Glad you liked it. That is a great series, so I definitely recommend to keep reading.

I just finished my second PIFM book this month, The Longest Day by Cornelius Ryan and really liked it. Thanks for recommending this powerful and very accessible book; I would not have found it otherwise, as I am just getting in to reading history.

I just started Where'd You Go, Bernadette by Maria Semple and am liking it so far (although I won't finish it this month, I am reading it at your recommendation). Thanks again for the great recs!

I finished my fifth pick A Highlander for the Holidays tonight.

Thank you for the pick. While it wasn't one of my favorites I did enjoy it.

I finished my pick finally! (And just in the nick of time.) I read the first Neighbors in Hell book and it was really funny. I loved Jason and his dad's obsession with food! The romance was cute and I liked it a lot. Thank you!!

I know I posted a few of the books I read at some point, but wanted to give you the full run down in case I forgot to update. Thanks again for the pick! I had a bunch of fun reading.

Here's what I ultimately got through. I've got all the rest added though and I am going to keep trying to get to all of them!
     ☑ Dark Horse ★★★★★
     ☑ Double Full ★★★½
☑ Acquainted with the Night ★★★½
     ☑ Sticks & Stones ★★★½

Erin (erin-b) I forgot to say that I finished one of my picks, Warrior's Cross, last week and really enjoyed it. I also started reading Magic Rises but haven't had a chance to finish it yet.

I read it this year after visiting the Normandy beaches this summer. If you EVER get a chance to go there, it is incredibly powerful.

One of the teachers I work with claimed that Where'd You Go, Bernadette changed her life. I just liked it and enjoyed the different structure.

Hey Dee,
I finished Twenty-Eight and a Half Wishes and you are right, it went by really quick! I gave it 3.5 stars. I think I'll eventually read the other books in the series but it won't be a priority. It kind of drove me nuts that Rose was so naive and 24 years old. However, I loved her neighbor!!

~KarenH~ | 11348 comments Hi Gea!

I'm late reporting in, but I managed to squeeze one more book in just under the wire. I finished Tempting the Highlander, and enjoyed it as much as I have the other books in the series...I really need to try to continue with it!

Nancy H | 1111 comments Hi Laurla,
I managed to finish another one of your recs and really liked it:Lost - And - Found Groom (Special Edition, 1344). It grabbed me from the beginning and I read it all in one day, it was so good.

I also started The Ladies Room and am really liking it. I just didn't get it finished before the end of the month.

Thanks for all the good recs. I will be reading all of them eventually.

Sorry I didn't get my last read listed before you did all those great stats! You can add one more and get us to 100!

Thanks for all of your hard work keeping us straight this month!

Happy Reading in February!

No worries Nancy - I usually wait a couple more days, but was trying to get them done while I had time. I added your last book and Karen's too! That makes it 101 books and averaging 2 1/3 books each!

Nancy H | 1111 comments Hi Laurla,
I don't know if you will see this since our reading month for these is over, but I wanted you to know I just finished The Ladies Room, and I LOVED LOVED LOVED it. If I could give it 6 stars, I would. It was definitely a feel-good, sweet book, probably too much so for some people, but it was just the right read for me at this point! Thanks for recommending it - I never would have found it otherwise!

Carla (carlacollette) | 347 comments Pam, I finished Where'd You Go, Bernadette by Maria Semple a couple of days ago. I really liked it, thanks for the recommendation. It was a fun structure with some really biting satire. I found the ending satisfactory; I really wasn't sure where the story was going, and was glad that with how things went.
