Thanks, MK! I started Along Came A Duke, and am enjoying it so far!
Fran, I finished
and surprisingly I loved it. After reading the first book this one didn't look interesting, but I added it anyway and now I can't wait to read the rest of the series

Good to know since I have the next one already on my nook!

Isa wrote: "I'm reading one of my picks MountainKat, Cut and Run xxx"I hope you like it Isa! Love that series, but they are two very messed up guys! I just read Armed & Dangerous and it is my new favorite in the series!
I finished my first pick The Bride by Julie GarwoodI wasn't sure I'd enjoy this book when it was first recommended to me. I some times get tired annoyed by the romance genre's (historical has a habit of doing this, but at least in their case it historically accurate) emphasis on the virginity of the heroine. And I'll admit there were times I was annoyed by that theme in this book, but overall it was a very enjoyable read. I read most of it in one day. And I'm anxious to see where the rest of the series goes, so I guess that means I'll give it 5 stars.
Hi Brett:I finished Blood Bound and really loved it. I'm going to try to get to another just not sure which yet.
Dee So I've read 2 books so far...Dark Horse - OH MY GOD LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! Soooo good. My full review is here. I cried buckets.
Acquainted with the Night - I didn't love this one. I see why people could be so entranced with it, but overall it was just ok for me. Here's my full review with the explanation of what bugged me. :)
But thank you for my great picks so far! I'm glad I read them both. Will update more as I get to them. :)
Elizabeth I finished
yesterday and it was amazing (5 stars for me). Brock is definitely my current book boyfriend. Thank you for the rec. I'm going to try to get to One Sweet Ride very soon.
Bre, I have read Wedding Night which was ok not as good as I thought it would be. I finished reading Simply irresistible though and loved it and ended up continuing in the series, thank you for recommending it.
Isa, I have finished
and
...I loved them both. I think that I will read
next. Thanks for all the great picks.
Hi Filipa (Apilif),I finished my second pick, Deep in the Count
and loved it. Thanks so much for the rec, I will be checking out more by this author!

This challenge is a lot of fun, make sure to look for the sign up in about 10 days or so!
Thanks for answering Fran! I hope to see you in the challenge next month Anayha - it is one of my favorites!!
Diane ~Firefly~I was home sick earlier this week and managed to finish
on 1-8-14. I really enjoyed it and am determined to read the final two books in the series this year.

Hi Gea! I finished my first pick yesterday - Sugar Creek. I liked it a lot, although not as much as the first book in the series. It really sucked me in to continue the series though...I'm going to have to keep it in mind when I'm planning out my challenges! I started my second pick, After the Storm, and I'm about halfway through it - so far it's a winner, too! Thanks for the great picks!
January 2014 PIFM Challenge - picked by TyHi Ty - Loving the Chicago Stars series! I read the first one for the Monthly Challenge and now I'm on to the 3rd for another challenge... Thanks for choosing it and getting them pushed up my TBR :-)
3. Save Money:
★(TBR) Heaven, Texas - one of my all time faves (reading the first is not compleeetely necessary for this. I read them out of order)
Done - 01.09 - ★★★★
Nancy H wrote: "Hi Laurla,I just finished

To be honest, it's been in my TBR for months but I haven't read it - I started buying the series because I've heard so many good things about the series and the author but now hearing how much you liked it... I think I need to get started on it now!!!
Ashley,I finished my second book
. Another 5 star read for me already this year. The more I read of Sarah Addison Allen the more I love her. I love every book of hers that I've read. Thanks for the recommendation.
I finished another pick, Vilda. I read Bayou Moon and, of course, I loved it! Ilona Andrews always delivers.I'll try to get to a couple more picks later in the month.
Sassafrass, I finally got to one of my picks - the beginning of this month has been pretty slow for me in the reading department. I read Small Town Siren and really enjoyed it! I've been wanting to read this forever and I am so glad you gave me the push - both here and in the Meet & Greet! You were right, I was not disappointed!!I really hope to get to a couple more of the picks because they look awesome, but I need to get through a few more for other challenges first. If you want to do either Double Full or Swan and the Bear buddy reads, let me know and we can set up a time!
January 2014 PIFM Challenge - picked by TyTy - Finished my second book for this month - and of course I loved it as I knew I would... I'd heard too many great things about this series, so I'm glad you picked it for me!!
6. Spend Time with Family and Friends:
★(TBR) The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie - I dearly love this family
Done - 01.12 - ★★★★★

Gea wrote: "Good to know you liked Sugar Creek and I'm really happy you're enjoying After the Storm - I heard many people didn't like it"I finished After the Storm yesterday, and I really liked it a lot. After reading a bunch of the 1 star reviews out there for it, I can understand where the people who hated it are coming from - fortunately I don't have the same issues with it that they seem to! Thanks for the great recommendations, Gea! I hope to get through at least one more before the end of the month, and with a little luck maybe even more than that!
BreannI finished my third pick Holiday Games 5*
And my fourth pick The CEO And The Girl From The Coffee Shop 4*
Loved them both!

Her world-building is cray-zay. They can be hard to get into at first.
Hi Karen, so far I've read From This Moment On and Beauty Touched the Beast. Not my favorite reads, but definitely worth it. I'm hoping to squeeze in one or two more before the end of the month. Thanks!
MountainKat I finished my first pick it was a slow start to this challenge as I'm doing other one plus 5 books for review and one Beta, anyway I read
and I absolutely loved it! Will try to squeeze another read. Thank you xx
Becca, I finished Tempest Rising last night. Was annoyed with Tempest for most of it, but the ending had me tearing up a bit, so I'm giving it a 2 star rating. Am currently reading It Had to Be You, and am enjoying it a bit better.
DianeI started
last night and am having fun with it so far. I've been looking but only see one other contemporary by Julia Harper, though I have read one of her Elizabeth Hoyt historicals.
I finished It Had to Be You today before my son's Head Start Home Visit. I'm rating it 2 stars, but it was really a 2.5 star read for me. It did come across very dated, but it also annoyed me and dragged in spots. Most of the action occurred in the latter third of the book, and I really didn't enjoy the build up to it. I've got Pleasure Unbound up next, and it seems interesting from the front cover excerpt!
