๖ۣۜSαᴙαh ๖ۣۜMᴄĄłłiƨʈeʀ (inked_chinadoll) Not wanting to stay in the city, her insides feeling as though they would burst from constraint--why was she reacting to her night this way?!--Rune headed for the forest, stepping lightly in her bare feet over the rooftops after she had redressed herself. She made it to the open area after an hour or so (having spent many nights fleeing had trained her eyes to adjust well to moonlight) and soon, Rune found herself near a river that was both soothing in sound and refreshing in scent. Rolling her cloak into a tight ball, she lay herself on the grass and drifted off to sleep again.

When she woke hours later, the sun was up, the birds were chirping and she was terribly thirsty and if possible, even more sore. With a heavy groan, she rose to her feet and made her way to the lake to bathe, still fully dressed, thinking that the water would sting her cuts and scratches something fierce.

Luna ❤Thing 5❤ (moonflower3) It hadn't taken Ridwan very long to get a track on Rune. He had asked a couple of frightened people whether they had seen a girl prowling the roof across from them. Once he got an answer it only too the general direction in which she was going, the scent from her necklace and he had her in his sights. He took to flying, dipping around and over the roves. He knew he was getting closer as the scent got stronger. It wasn't until it got to night time that he landed, taking to having a late night stroll through the wild area. He was the scariest thing out here so there was no chance of being jumped by anyone. Not sleeping brought him very close to the river, hearing some rustling up ahead he spotted a flash of familiar flesh, grinning from ear to ear as she dipped into the river. He backed up and shot up into the sky, staying silent as he grabbed the scythe strapped to his back, tipping the blade upside down, dangling the precious metal she had left him with on the tip. He drifted down and hovered, letting his scythe slide down enough that her necklace was in full view when she lifted her head up. "I see you little bird." He told her, his eyes practically screaming of the darkest terrors you could think of. Before she could so much as think of casting a spell he snatched her up out of the water, soaring faster and higher, tightly grasping her by nothing but her hands, letting her dangle from his grip. "Lets see how you fly little bird." He murmured, darkness lacing his words.

๖ۣۜSαᴙαh ๖ۣۜMᴄĄłłiƨʈeʀ (inked_chinadoll) To say that she was surprised to see her necklace dangling in front of her face would have been an understatement. When she was then unceremoniously ripped from the lake and up, up, into the night sky, Rune's breath caught in her throat as fear gripped her body. Had she hoped that he would find her? Maybe a little, she admitted. Did she regret her curiosity? Time would tell. She screamed for his benefit as he pulled her high up into the night sky, her hands bunching into fists to keep them from slipping from his grip. Something told her he wouldn't be releasing her unless he absolutely wanted to, but one could never be too sure and Rune hadn't survived this long by betting on chance. Sure she took risks, but only ever at the limit of her own skills. Tonight could be no different if she wanted to survive.

Luna ❤Thing 5❤ (moonflower3) Ridwan could see through her fear and hear the truth behind that scream. He knew thousands of screams from memory and this was a laugh in the face. He pulled her into the clouds and yanked her up, watching her sit in the clouds for a split second. "Have a nice flight." Lets see what spell she had to stop her from plummeting into the river and breaking all her bones and blending all her organs. He stayed in the clouds as he watched her fall faster and faster towards her impending doom, the faster she got the more he smiled. She was about a hundred feet from the water when he did a quick dive through the air and caught her around the waist, jarring her body, her nose an inch away from the surface of the water. He wasn't letting her pretty little mind cast anymore spells around him. He hovered just over the water as he held her for a maximum of five seconds before spinning her into a nearby tree near the river. It wouldn't kill her but it would mean she broke something as he watched her crumple to the ground. He darted over to her and rolled her onto her back, pressing his foot against her neck a sai a millimetre away from her eyeball, dangling her present above her like a pendulum, a count down to her untimely death. "You flew into the wrong snakes den little bird." He snarled, eyes turning a filthy blood red, nearing the side of black. "So much as think another spell and I'll kill you without mercy right now, but I'm having a good time." He chuckled sinisterly, pressing his foot more firmly against her trachea. "This is why curiosity killed the cat." He murmured, so close to cutting her eyes out. He placed her necklace in the middle of the heart he had carved into her chest. "I believe you forgot this. A fitting gift to die with." His hand went over the middle of her chest, his nails sharp and pressing against her flesh, wondering what it would be like to tear her spine out with his bare hands. "I'd ask for any last words but I doubt you can talk, if you did you'd only tell me a spell."

๖ۣۜSαᴙαh ๖ۣۜMᴄĄłłiƨʈeʀ (inked_chinadoll) Although her crash into the tree hadn't broken any bones (she hoped), it did knock the wind out of her, allowing him to pounce on her. She stared up at him, believing that he did intend on killing her if he could, and she wondered just how badly she had misread him. But she didn't misread people often. Although he had said he was a monster.... He didn't want any more spells? Fine. She held her breath and feigned death, her acting skills coming in handy, and just as she felt him loosen his foot ever so slightly, she pulled her daggers out from their clasps and drove them deep into his leg, using the momentum of his stumble to cartwheel her legs into the air, kicking him in the face as she simultaneously slashed at his thigh, landing on her feet, facing him. "Come any closer and I'll kill you," she warned, her blood pounding in her head, her turquoise eyes narrowed dangerously as her knives glinted in the moonlight, stained darkly with his blood. Her damp hair hung around her face and although she was hurt, so was he now. She wasn't going down without a fight nor would she let him think she was weak. She was far enough away from him that if he so much as moved, she could cast another spell but she would let him make that choice.

Luna ❤Thing 5❤ (moonflower3) Ridwan loved the fact she had him caught off guard, letting her think she had a foot hold over him, letting her think that death wasn't there to kiss her on the lips. He let the pain slice through him, like a welcome home hug, having not had this much anger fuelled adrenaline zip through his body in a long time. "I'd like to see you try little bird. I've died many times and each time it feels better than the last." He grinned something part feral and part shadow of a man. He dipped his finger into the hole in his thigh, bringing them up and staring at his blood in a sort of crazy wonderment. A sound left his lips that could curdle blood, a wicked grin on his face. One moment he was there and the next he had her whiplashed against a tree, her wrists in both his hands, broken, knives on the floor. His teeth grazed her throat, dangerously scouring for the right point in which to bite down. "I wonder what you taste like fresh from fear." He breathed against her flesh, the spiked tip of his wing, pushing into the centre of her stomach. "I dare you." He snarled, almost hearing her body talk to him.

๖ۣۜSαᴙαh ๖ۣۜMᴄĄłłiƨʈeʀ (inked_chinadoll) She screamed loudly until her throat was ragged from his attacks. The pain that tore through her body proved to be too much and try as she might to stay awake, Rune could feel the her head begin to cloud over, knowing she was going to pass out. "Fuck you," she spat in his face as she felt Ridwan's warm mouth against her throat, remembering suddenly with a flash what they had done the night before. If only... was the last unfinished thought that passed through her mind before she passed out, her head of wet hair pressing deeply into Ridwan's face as she succumbed to the blackness that took over her mind.

Luna ❤Thing 5❤ (moonflower3) Ridwan was practically humming to the wondrous scream she gave him, hearing truth in that tinkle of sound. He felt the grinding of her curse before it washed over him like it was nothing, but it irked him when she blacked out like some pathetic rag doll. He held her up, both her wrists with one hand like some sacrifice, growling like an animal. Humans and their fragility. Pitiful, yet interesting when they wanted to be. He lost the excitement and hunger he had a moment ago, just looking at her with pitiful and brewing eyes. He had taught her a lesson which was the main thing he supposed, but it wasn't as satisfying. Grumbling under his breath he flung her to the floor like the broken bird she was, uncaring and irritated, pacing back and forth before punching a tree, leaving a split down the middle. What had she done to him? To his annoyance he knelt beside her and poured a potion down her throat he knew would kick start her healing into a sprint so that when she woke it would be like she had never been hurt. He left her like she was, necklace back where it belonged and scrawled in the dirt was, "Now you see." With a picture of a bird by the words.

๖ۣۜSαᴙαh ๖ۣۜMᴄĄłłiƨʈeʀ (inked_chinadoll) Hours later, Rune woke, moaning softly as she curled her legs closer to her body, in a fetal position. Where was she? She opened her eyes slowly, her curtain of luxurious chestnut hair in her face as her memory came flooding back to her. She stopped breathing for a moment or two, wondering if the tiefling was still around, waiting for her to wake up and when she couldn't wait any longer, she tried to sit up. Much to her surprise, she was not in pain, or hurt, although she remembered being bashed up pretty well before she passed out. What had happened? Glancing down at herself, Rune saw that that damn heart he had carved into her chest was still there but the rest of her aches and pains were gone. "That son of a bitch," she muttered, anger glinting in her turquoise eyes. Just then, her vision caught a wink of metal on the ground seeing her silver necklace, a small frown creased her face. She reached a delicate hand to pick it up when she noticed his message and with an upward curl of her sensual lips, she placed her necklace back on her slender neck before standing up to retrieve her knives and head back into town.
