I never knew Handmaid's Tale was a movie! That book made me uncomfortable, lol. I really liked it, but the whole scenario made me squirm a bit.

I try to use the randomizer(I don't usually read the selected book :P) or I give my to-read list to hubby to select my next read (I don't read what he tells me either ) and I end up buying and reading something not on my TBR list :D

Yes, that is the big mystery. Actually, this is my favorite book by AC. I was skittish of her other books, but just loved this one.

I've been MIA for a bit!

LK - YES, my friend and I that Buddy Read a lot are reading books that are about to be movies (hence - and )

We actually didn't know was a movie till after we chose it. We are slowly working our way through Classics right now... This is our third one so far in a two month span. We first read and then . We figured, if we read Classic books together, we'd enjoy them move and be able to compare notes :) So far, we are enjoying it!!!!

I'm still reading The Maze Runner and The Handmaid's Tale, so no new updates here on the book front. (I read Kit's comments earlier about HT and yes this book is definitely odd.... It has some uncomfortable moment's in it for sure...)

I know LK, I'm like wait, this is a movie too?! We just saw a preview for a movie and we plan on reading the book this month, it looks like an interesting movie.. So we shall see... It's called White Bird in a Blizzard: A Novel
