Ezi, I skipped #1 in The Rules of Scoundrels series because of some of the reviews, but I really enjoyed #2. I do have #3 on audio, though. Hmmm...

FOFLMBO! Yeah, I don't do it often, but sometimes people get pretty persistent I read a book and the first few don't appeal to me in any way, shape, or manner. So, I make an exception, then.

I generally avoid skipping. I really didn't like Mara. I mean really didn't like her. I will read book 4 because I think someone picked it for Meet & Greet on RRRC. But I really want to read
. I suspect that I will like that series better

I used it do it before GRs, too, as I didn't know what was part of a series. I only do it now when someone is really insistent.

"I didn't like that book! But I'm probably the only person who didn't like it.

If I don't like it, then I will know it's her writing style and her heroines. But it is on my January Starter Audio plan

I'm reading my last book of the year, one of Santa's picks but I'm not sure if I can finish it by tonight although I'll try! Not because it isn't good but because it's soooo hilarious! I'm laughing so hard I have to stop reading to control myself! It's
The Rosie Project LOL! Thx Santa, excellent choice! ; )
