Something that gets my goat is the way SK points out the way the tet try out the Calla way of talking and gradually bring it into their way of talking over the course of the novel. However in the revised edition of The Gunslinger there's do ya's and all that everywhere you look.
I'm up to the Tale of Gray Dick. How short would the DT be if you solely read the actual moving forward parts of the story! xD I enjoyed the first part of The Priests Tale but was a bit bored of it by the time part two concluded. Was genuinely creeped out this time round by the message THEY left on the park bench re Callahan. *shudders*
