I just finished chapter 6

it's a great read so far. I love the witty conversations (I think you're going to love it too! They are so cute)

but I'm nervous (view spoiler)[ I can't help but love Matt!!! He's so sweet and caring

but...if book 1.5 is from Matt's POV, something tells me Julie falls for Finn :( (hide spoiler)]

FF (view spoiler)[ flat finn is a little odd but I love how they are all handling it. Celeste seems neurotic with her parent's expectations and crazy intelligence and with Matt being the one to take care of her.
it reminds me of Confessions of a Murder Suspect, right?? how odd that family was just because the parents were so smart and expected the same of their kids.... (hide spoiler)]

Trisha, I've been at my daughter's all day. Taking care of her and babysitting the kids PLUS still trying to get 44 pages of yearbook submitted! I got a reprieve cuz they were due yesterday but so much happened to prevent us from getting them in, so my publisher said we could turn them in today. :) I HOPE to get home around 9:30 tonight and then read. Glad it's good!!

Celeste and Flat Finn (I want to say Flat Stanley!! lol!) are just odd! But I loved how Julie handled the whole situation! Especially when Celeste was getting frustrated with Flat Finn!

Great! This is an awesome book so far. I am just afraid that (view spoiler)[ there is going to be heartbreak. Either Matt has a split personality, or he loves Celeste so much that he's playing the role of Flinn. Or there is something going on that we have no clue about. OMG, I have even begun to wonder if these people are all part of Julie's imagination. LOL Is something like that possible? Haha! I'd make a great psychiatrist, don't you think? (hide spoiler)]

Ch. 22-23:

Her dad: (view spoiler)[ I hate her dad! I knew he'd let her down again. I don't like that she is lying about her vacation and dinner with her dad. LOVE that she ordered all that food to go! LOL He is a major jerk though. Doesn't even bother to call her? Ugh... (hide spoiler)]

Christmas: (view spoiler)[ It seems even more evident (if we're right) that Matt is Flinn. I mean he fixes the house up, gets her the gifts, when Julie comes down as he's decorating he looks at his laptop and shuts it. Hmmm...you know he is definitely hiding things! I'm smart enough to know that much. LOL I liked their time under the tree. I loved his philosophical questions. Those are always fun! She got pretty personal with him and their discussion about sex too. Hmmm...he also said a couple things that sounded like Flinn such as, "kidding, kidding." And he can be funny like Flinn too...OMG I just have to know what's going on!! (hide spoiler)]

I so agree with you! You "The why" spoiler is so realistic too. Perhaps not the aftermath as far as Flat Finn, but how (view spoiler)[ they all blame themselves. Poor mom...so easy to judge her, which I did, as being that absent mom. But how knows what one would do in a situation like that! How could you ever forgive yourself if you truly believed you were responsible for your own child's death? I am SO glad that Matt was finally told how loved and special he is too! (hide spoiler)]
