The Beast noticed how she was sneaking glances at him, though he didn't care. He was paying more attention to the bag of M&M's he was eating. He finished rather quickly before turning his entire attention to her. "Yeah, I'll have some," he said, unable to turn down pizza or juice or whichever it was she was offering him. He was hungry still, not surprisingly.

The Beast strided over to the counter where she had set out a glass of juice for him, and he reached out with his furry, clawed hand and grabbed the glass and started drinking down the orange juice without stopping. He stopped when he had drunk down all the juice in the glass. Then he set the glass down and looked over to watch Lilly and observe her as she ate. He could tell she was starving.

What am I going to do with this human in my house? the Beast thought as he watched her. And it's a girl on top of it. The thought of killing her entered his mind, but that was all. He didn't make any decisions to kill her. He couldn't. After what had happened, he didn't quite have the heart. She was obviously on the run from something or someone, and he knew that he had her protected in his castle. "How long do you wish to be here?" he asked.

The Beast watched her more intently as he mentally noted the wide eyes. She was scared. And a beast like him could smell fear. His curiosity of what was up with her was growing by the minute. A little after she spoke, he turned away and started snooping in the pantry again, grabbing a Milky Way bar and devouring that with hungry growls.

"If you're going to stay here for a while, you can explore anywhere you like," the Beast said after he finished eating and threw the wrapper in the trash. After he spoke, he got some water for himself after she had washed her dishes, and he drank before looking back at her again. His serious look had never changed much.

The Beast didn't say anything as he slowly headed out of the kitchen. He got down on all fours as he slinked and padded upstairs and through the hallway, going back into his room. He stood back up once he had gone out on the balcony that was connected to his room.

The Beast couldn't stop thinking about her as he stood on the balcony and watched the beauty of nature and felt the gentle breeze blow through his fur and caress him. He sighed because of that reason. Not to mention, all this was very new to him, taking in this girl and letting her live in his house with him. He wasn't used to that.

Lilly was lost in the scenery and then sighed softly and continued to look around the massive castle. She had no idea why the beast was so nice. He could have killed her now anyway...maybe he was never going to and in stead was trying to help her? she sighed. She didn't know but it was starting to confuse and concern her and she didn't know what to do!
The Beast sighed and rubbed his horns. He wasn't going to be too concerned. It was just a human girl anyway. It wasn't like she was going to give him any deliberate trouble. He could kill her just like that. He continued to stand on the balcony, the wind blowing his cape around.

As the Beast turned around and started making his way back through the beastly room on the way out, he found himself tripping over something, which ended up being a piece of furniture, and he took a big flop on the floor. Unfortunately, there was some broken glass on the ground where he had fallen, and the glass happened to cut up his arm a bit, leaving little, bleeding cuts all over his forearm. Some were deeper than others. The bad thing was that he got hurt on the same arm that once had the bullet in it, and one big piece of glass had got him right through the bandage and into the healing wound. The Beast snarled, more from frustration at his clumsiness than pain, and he got up, pulling the little shards of glass out wherever he saw them on his arm. As he was doing that, he was walking down the hall.

"Fell on stupid glass," the Beast growled, still feeling irritated about the incident. He stopped and picked out the last piece of glass he saw. He didn't look down at her until he was done with what he was doing. One thing was for sure. She sure was quick to help and show kindness. Though, the Beast wasn't surprised to see that from a female human. Females had the tendency to show more compassion than males.

"I tripped over furniture, and there it was." The Beast watched her take care of his wounds. He didn't flinch. "I think I got cut on the bullet wound you bandaged," he said, looking at the bandaged wound that was bleeding a bit.

The Beast tensed at the tightness. It made the wound more sore, but he could handle it. He didn't and wouldn't make a sound. He just watched the wound bleed and waited for it to stop bleeding. Very soon, it did.

((Should something happen where she gets hurt as well?))
The Beast looked down at her and stared into her face for a while. Then he looked away. "Thanks," he mumbled, his cape brushing past her as he moved around her, going down the hall.

Lilly stared back at him, unable to tear her eyes away and then bit her lip as he looked away. "Anytime" she said softly and then watched him walk away. She bit her lip and ran her hands through her hair. She wanted to go outside...for some fresh air. She hoped he didn't mind. She walked to the massive main front door and carefully opened it before she walked out. She didn't walk far before she sat down in the grass and stared at the sky
((I guess we could make it up as we go.))
The Beast paused from his walk when he heard the door open, standing in the hall upstairs as he watched her form go out. With the way she walked out, it seemed more like she was just going out for a walk rather than going home. As the Beast resumed his walk through the castle, he thought about her more and more. One thing was for sure. She was beautiful.

Lilly sighed happily and decided to lay back in the grass. It was long...well long enough to tickle her cheeks and wrap around her fiery hair as she lay there staring at the gorgeous blue sky above. It was beautiful here. In this spot. She didn't want to leave. She ran her fingers through the grass, gently of course so as not to break any of the shoots. She liked here...she didn't ever want to go home...
((Doing good. How are you?))
A little later, the Beast walked outside, wanting to know where she was at. As he walked out, it didn't take him long to find her lying in the grass. The cool breeze blew through his fur as the sun shone down on him. He stood over her, looking down at her face upside down, before slowly moving over to sit by her, his cape trailing out behind him and moving gently in the wind over the grass.

Lilly was so lost in the gorgeous surroundings that when a shadow loomed over her she jumped slightly. When she realised it was the beast she relaxed and watched him moving to sit next to her. She smiled. She felt at ease right now with him surprisingly and she didn't know why. She turned her head back up to the sky. She didn't say anything, too scared to ruin the perfect silence that wrapped around them, just the soundtrack of nature to fill their ears.
For a long while, the Beast sat there, not looking at her and trying to focus his attention on the nature around them. He was fond of nature himself, but he was feeling rather weird, almost embarrassed. Why did he feel shy around her? Probably it was because she was a girl, a beautiful girl. He was embarrassed with himself for feeling so shy inside. Forcing himself to do so, he looked at her. The first thing he looked at was her face, then his attention quickly turned to her hair, her beautiful, red hair, quite striking and bright in the light from the sun. Without thinking, he reached over with his furry, clawed hand and touched her hair curiously, feeling it and admiring it.

The Beast slowly trailed his eyes over her body, from her hair to her legs. Then when he looked back at her, he saw her looking at him, and he immediately felt shy and embarrassed again. He quickly jerked his hand away and looked away, looking down at his hands.

When the Beast made himself look back at her out of the corner of his eye, he suddenly felt even more shy, and he quickly hid his face down in his hand, further embarrassing himself. He hated being shy. It was just that she was looking at him now after what he did.

Finally, for what seemed like a long time, the Beast looked back at her and moved closer, despite his lingering shyness. He forced the words out of his mouth, knowing that he couldn't contain the urge to say them forever. "Your hair is unusually red...and beautiful, just like you, might I admit."

((Okay.))
The Beast felt even more sheepish as he saw her blushing. He was glad that he had fur, or else his blush could be seen, too. He looked away slowly as his cape blew more forcefully in the wind.

Lilly bit her lip as she tentatively looked through all the cupboards and the fridge before she decided on what she would make. However she had been distracted by the way the beast ate and even though she tried her best not to stare she did keep sneaking glances in his direction. She bit her lip and took the couple of slices of pizza and put them on a plate and in the microwave to heat up before she grabbed herself some juice and poured a glass "Did you want some?" she asked him softly...trying to be nice. He was being nice to her...though she was sure she could end up like that bag of M&M's in seconds...
