Lynx, I need to remove my reservation for District 3 girl. I didn't realize how much holiday stuff I had going on and I've barely begun work on my character.

Name: Lillianna (Lilly for short) VitriousGender: Female
District: Four
Age: 14
Appearance: http://goo.gl/79WORJ (She kind of looks like that) Lilly is slightly underneath the average height for her age, with blonde hair and blue eyes. She looks strong, maybe not well fed, but definitely strong. Lilly is generally attractive, but she doesn't really care about looks.
Personality: Lilly is very outgoing, and has a certain element of wit about her that causes her to seem funny to others. She is slightly arrogant.
History: Lilly grew up with an abusive father in a household of five children, being the only daughter. Being a middle child(and the only daughter), she was often neglected and had to fight for her food every night. Her father forced every one of his children to "train" just in case they were reaped. (This training mostly consisted of hand to hand combat , but they would occasionally throw kitchen knifes at their house.) She excelled in hand to hand, seeing how she could beat all of her brothers. She once broke her wrist when jumping off the roof of her home and attempting to flip in mid-air (a challenge from one of her brothers), but she hasn't received any other major injuries.
Skills:
-Hand to hand combat (knifes, daggers, swords or her bare hands)
-Deception (she is incredibly skilled at lying)
-Strength (from her years in a household full of brothers, she is pretty strong both mentally and physically)
-Cunning (she has a relatively good sense of situations, enough to think a half-step in front of her opponents)
Weaknesses:
-Abandonment (one of the things Lilly has struggled to cope with is that her parents essentially ignore her, and leave her on her own)
-Archery/Throwing Knifes (can't hit targets with accuracy from a distance)
-Left wrist (the one that she broke is less stable than the other one)
Token: A small river rock she found before beating her oldest brother in a brawl. (She considers it good luck.)

Long, blond hair. Almond shaped Blue eyes, slender build, and she wears a lot of black.
Personality: Ali is very rebellious. You tell her not to climb over the fence? She'll jump over the fence. She is very respectful, unless you make her mad. Then she can get a little defensive. Her family & friends are what matter to her. Mess with them, you mess with her.
History: There isn't really much to tell. Her father was killed in the games a year after her youngest sister and brother were born, so she and her mom have to support for the family.
Skills: she is very good at archery, and is very flexible. She is a fast runner, and knows how to fight.
Weaknesses: Her worry for her family, her protective and rebel nature.

Hello, um would I be able to join the roleplay? I love THG and roleplaying and I will make a character further down in my comment... Is it too late to start with you guys? I know the last comment was in January, and it's now April, but if you could confirm it and everything, tell me when I can begin to play in the arena with you guys?Um what I'd do is I'd say that my character was very well hidden and none of you spotted her until now, when she went to the Cornucopia for food or something and wanted to make friends with a few of you? I hope that would work haha :) You all seem super nice and everything but if I can't join the RP or it's too late or something that's totally fine with me!
So, for my character...
Name: Mel 'Swallow' Button
Gender: Female
District: Eight
Age: Fifteen
Appearance: Her hair is like Katniss': in a plait down the side of her most times, otherwise it's in a ponytail, it's a light brown colour, she has grey eyes and is 5'6". She's got a strong build and is quite slim.
Personality: Mel likes to mess around with people and is great making new friends. If you trust her, she'll trust you back, and will talk to basically anyone and everyone if she gets the chance. If you upset her she'll soon forget about it, unless you do something grave, otherwise she'll seek out to kill you. Not a big deal. She's good at jokes but has a serious side when she needs to be.
History: She was a first-picked girl from the Reaping and, like so many others, no-one volunteered for her spot. She left her family behind; her dad, dog (Scruff) and her boyfriend (Andy). She didn't get a chance to say goodbye to any of them as her District wasn't very pleasing on that day. Her mum died when she was 10 from being shot in the back by a Peacekeeper. Ever since then, Mel has feared the Capitol and wanted to destroy it.
Skills: Mel's great with a bow and arrow and has experienced knives. She can kill someone just by locking their neck. Sometimes Mel's known as the 'charmer of the west' by Andy and his friends for her looks. Her eyes shine like stars and could kill someone with a stare. She can climb trees, no matter how thick or thin. She's very agile as when she was younger, she used to have running races with the deer down the fields by her house.
Weaknesses: She's not a great defender or a swimmer, and is very emotional - Mel cries a lot.

Other: Mel's middle name is Swallow because no matter where she goes, she wears the pin and that's also her favourite animal. It reminds her of her mum and would die to see her one last time.
Hey Melanie, this arena has started already and completely over with pretty much. The last couple tributes are finishing up. There are other ones to join though, especially on other groups. :)
Oh haha that's a shame :p This one looked pretty intense. I'd like to join one but they aren't moving at all, like the last post was in March or something. Should I make a new one or just wait for the current one to end? :)

HISTORY: Born & raised in District 4, she has no love for the Capitol, and has always had a bit of a rebellious streak. She has a twin brother and a little sister. They annoy her, but she'd give her life for them.

Personality: She is like a mini Johanna Mason, she is outgoing, wild, and is not afraid to voice her opinions. She can be funny spunky and outgoing.
History: Her father is the mayor of District 9, so Amber never had to work the wheat fields growing up. She stayed at home and helped with chores, and assisted her mother with medical work. When her name was drawn, everyone was is shock because the child og the mayor had never been drawn in our district before. She sweated, but she did not publicize her fear.
Skills: Amber is extremely talented with throwing knives and she can hit almost any target. She also had experience in medicine and is fast.
Weaknesses: She can't climb trees very well, and she is terrible at hand to hand combat.
Token: Amber always wears a wheat necklace that is worn by the daughter of the mayor in her district. It is crafted from gold and has a charm of a bushel of wheat.
Other: She is terrific at making sponsors.
