message 151: by Ladybooksalott (new)

Ladybooksalott (silverstake) Adam watched her carefully. "I know that he has a point. I didn't say that, but your... friend, was trying to get me out of the game. He even told me he'd act like the father when your parents would come over," he said slowly, watching her reaction. "Look, I'm sorry," he said softly. "But I want a fair share in her life."

message 152: by [deleted user] (new)

Angel frowned, Ryan had said that? No, she wanted Adam to do that favour for her. "Uh, I know. You don't have to tell me that." Angel found herself ordering another coke, tempted to ask for gin, too. "You can have a fair share, I just don't want you and Ryan profusely asking. Just get along, please. I can't have you two arguing every time you see each other, because that'll just hurt me and the baby."

message 153: by Ladybooksalott (new)

Ladybooksalott (silverstake) "I'll try to, he's just an asshole. How can you be friends with him?" he grumbled, taking a sip of his beer after ordering one. He looked at her with a light smile. "You know I'll try to, Angel, I mean, it's not only for me anymore," he said gently. He honestly would be a great father, just a lot of people saw him as a failure, which hurt him.

message 154: by [deleted user] (new)

"I guess he's just really protective over me and the baby, but I've known him since I was a baby myself, so It's kinda a no-brainer. But I think you'll be a great father and I don't agree with what he said. You're welcome any time, alright?" Angel said tiredly. She wanted a break away from Ryan tonight, and looked to Adam. "Could I.. maybe stay with you tonight? I think I want a break from Ryan as I know he'll just wanna talk about it."

message 155: by Ladybooksalott (new)

Ladybooksalott (silverstake) Adam chuckled at her words and sighed. "Yeah, thanks," he sighed, downing his beer. He looked at her, leaning against the bar slightly. "Yeah, of course you can. He couldn't shut up about it when he was with me," he muttered softly. He got up from his stool and offered his hand to her so she could get off too. "Let's go now then."

message 156: by [deleted user] (new)

"Thanks... He's a really nice guy, I guess he just needs to learn how to shut up," Angela admitted, taking Adam's hand. Angela felt slightly heavier now, and also quite sick. She squeezed his hand and held herself close to him; it was cold. Angel was growing to Adam, slowly but surely. She didn't hate him anymore, but wouldn't exactly call him a best friend. Maybe just the father of her baby for now. When they arrived at Adam's apartment, Angel told him about her plan to tell her parents about the pregnancy but say it was planned. Though, she didn't know if Adam would want that. "I just don't want them thinking or knowing it was a mistake, or that we're not together..."

message 157: by Ladybooksalott (new)

Ladybooksalott (silverstake) "I guess he could be a nice guy, just not to me," he laughed softly, rubbing the back of his neck. He paid for their drinks and then held her hand as they walkd out of the bar. "Yeah, he does need to learn how to shut up," he chuckled softly. He walked home with her, and nodded occasionally at her words. "You're right. We should... tell them that it was planned. I don't want any problems."

message 158: by [deleted user] (new)

"I know it sounds horrible and like I'm using you, but you don't know my parents. It's bad enough that I'm in a band, but falling pregnant with a guy I barely knew? They'd eat me alive," Angel said, appreciating his support. "Thank you so much!" she said, kissing his cheek. "Where should I crash?" she asked, letting go of his hand with a yawn. Inside, she actually wanted his warmth like she had on tour.

message 159: by Ladybooksalott (new)

Ladybooksalott (silverstake) Adam gave her hand a gentle squeeze, smilng softly as she kissed his cheek. "No problem. I understand your worries about your parents. My parents would probalby react badly too," he admitted with shy smile. He led her inside and closed the door behind them, leading her to the living room. "You can sleep in my bed. I'll take the couch," he said gently.

message 160: by [deleted user] (new)

"Mm, you know I don't like you doing that..." Angel said softly, looking at the floor. Honestly, she wasn't trying to flirt or make it seem like she wanted to sleep with him again, but she didn't want him on the couch in his own place. "No, I'll take the couch... I, you look really tired and to be honest I'm not that bothered," she admitted, holding the bump.

message 161: by Ladybooksalott (new)

Ladybooksalott (silverstake) "Of course not," he scowled. "I'm not a douchebag," he chuckled. "You're pregnant, so you'll take the bed, come on, now," he said gently, taking her hand again and leading her to his bedroom. He would refuse to let her sleep on the couch. That was just cruel. She was pregnant and deserved a bed. And even if she hadn't been pregnant, she still deserved to sleep in a bed.

message 162: by [deleted user] (new)

Angela smiled slightly, he was being awfully nice. "That's really sweet of you, but.... You just completely a really long tour, so, without sounding like a slag, why don't we just both sleep here?" Angela asked. Honestly, she didn't want to sleep on the couch, but didn't want Adam on it either. "It's not like we haven't shared a bed before, and it'd be nice to have some warmth."

message 163: by Ladybooksalott (new)

Ladybooksalott (silverstake) "Yeah, that's probably true though. Fine, let's do that. You're really clever, you know that?" he chuckled softly, walking after her towards the bed. He got undressed and changed into some sweatpants before crawling into bed. He was tired and knew she was too. "Night, Angela," he muttered softly, watching her for a moment before closing his eyes.

message 164: by [deleted user] (new)

Angel waited until he'd closed his eyes before stripping down to her bra and panties. She didn't actually have a night clothes on her, and the bump was more comfortable without a shirt on. "Night..." Angela whispered, falling asleep on his arm. It was a lovely sleep, but when she woke up, her phone was ringing frantically and she had about 12 texts to read.

message 165: by Ladybooksalott (new)

Ladybooksalott (silverstake) Adam smiled a little and wrapped his arms around her throughout the night, though it was a little harder with her bump in the way. He woke up to the sound of ringing and rubbed his eyes after sitting up. "Someone's calling you?" he muttered softly.

message 166: by [deleted user] (new)

Angel reached for her phone and with a sigh, picked it up. Ryan was worried sick. "Angela! where are you?" he asked, walking around the living room. "I went to the bar with Adam..." Angel muttered. "What!? Angela you're pregnant! You can't keep running off at night drinking!" Ryan snapped. Angela sighed, "I know, I know, I just wanted some time to chill off and I needed to talk to him without any arguments," Angel said simply before hanging up, throwing her phone on the floor and tiredly burying her head in Adam's muscular chest. "Jesus."

message 167: by Ladybooksalott (new)

Ladybooksalott (silverstake) "It's Adam, but you can call me Jesus if you want to," he teased softly. He stroked his fingers gently through her hair, wanting to sooth her. Stress wasn't good for her or the baby. "What did he say?" he asked her softly. He knew it was Ryan, but he hadn't really heard the conversation.

message 168: by [deleted user] (new)

"He was really annoyed at me for leaving and not telling him. But it's not like he checked up on me anyway," Angela sighed, her headed rested on Adam's. It was safe to say she was so, so tired and just wanted time away from Ryan so she didn't have to deal with everything baby. "Thank's again for letting me sleep over," Angel said, her eyes still closed.

message 169: by Ladybooksalott (new)

Ladybooksalott (silverstake) Adam sighed softly. "I guess that's stupid. He's not your boyfriend. He can't control you," he said slowly, softly. He knew he had a point, he just didn't want to upset her with talking like this. "No problem," he said softly when she said thanks.

message 170: by [deleted user] (new)

"I know, I shouldn't have just gone like that, but you're right, he's not my boyfriend," Angela sighed, hugging him close. "I'm really sorry about the way he treated you," she said, taking his hand and placing it on her bump. Angel held his hand there, allowing him to feel the movement of their young baby girl.

message 171: by Ladybooksalott (new)

Ladybooksalott (silverstake) Adam was surprised that she would hug him. He gently hugged her back, nodding his head a little. "Yeah, that's true," he muttered softly, smiling a little more as she placed his hand on her bump. He laughed in wonder as the little girl moved. "That's amazing," he chuckled.

message 172: by [deleted user] (new)

"Yeah, amazing but uncomfortable..." Angela admitted, looking down at the bump. Their little girl really ached, but that was just the price to pay with birth. "I want you to be at the birth, you know that, right?"

message 173: by Ladybooksalott (new)

Ladybooksalott (silverstake) ((Should we skip some time here too?))

message 174: by [deleted user] (new)

(Sure, maybe to the birth?)

message 175: by [deleted user] (new)

Angela stood outside Kat's house with Adam, holding his hand with the baby gentle rested in the basket they'd bought her. "So, are we splitting off or?..." Angela asked, they hadn't actually thought about who would look after Libby this week. "I.. I really want you to come stay with me, even if it's just for the night. I really like you and I want us to work something out. A relationship, maybe?"

message 176: by Ladybooksalott (new)

Ladybooksalott (silverstake) Adam smiled at Angela, holding her hand in his. "Well, I don't want to split off," he admitted with a sweet smile, gazing into her eyes. "I want that too, Angel. I love you and I want to be in a relationship with you. Would you.." he began, blushing sweetly. "Would you be my girlfriend?" he asked shyly, gazing at her. He was shy at those things. He was no expert in relationships.

message 177: by [deleted user] (new)

Angel wasn't really used to relationships either, because like Adam she'd often slept around and now paid the price. "I love you, and I'd love to be your girlfriend." When in the car, Angel strapped the baby in the car and put the keys in the ignition, holding his hand. When home, he took her out the car and took Adam's hand again, taking him inside.

(I might have Angel and Ryan in a relationship before and maybe Angel and Adam sleep together (not sex, literally just sleep) and Ryan calls her a cheater? then Angel is left to convince Adam that they never really dated?)

message 178: by Ladybooksalott (new)

Ladybooksalott (silverstake) ((Yeah sure!))

Adam smiled softly at her and nodded. He hugged her close and kissed her lips repetetively. "I love you, girlfriend," he teased, walking to the car with her. He got in and was glad that they were home after five minutes. It wasn't far. He held her hand, as she took care of Libby. "It's so beautiful here. You have a nice place."

message 179: by [deleted user] (new)

"I love you too, boyfriend" Angela said sweetly, taking him in. "Maybe if Ryan really does leave, you could come and join me... I mean, I really want Libby to see her daddy every morning and wake up to him," Angel said, holding his hand. "Let's put Libby to bed, together," Angel said happily. "You're perfect, you know that?" Angel said to Adam, still unable to believe she hated him.

message 180: by Ladybooksalott (new)

Ladybooksalott (silverstake) Adam chuckled at her words, shaking his head in amusement. He followed her inside, smiling widely as he heard her words. "I want that too, love. I would love to live in a house with you," he said gently. "That would be just.. great," he smiled happily. "You are perfect," he told her softly, pulling her into his arms for a moment, their little daughter in between them. "She's more perfect though, than the both of us," he teased softly.

message 181: by [deleted user] (new)

(Sorry they weren't great I was in a skype call hahaha)

"Hm, no, I don't think she's more perfect than you. I think you're both as perfect as perfect gets..." Angel said as they walked up to Libby's bedroom. It was such a lovely room with flowers everywhere. Angel loved him so much, and she loved their baby too. "Here we go, night nights time Libby," Angel whispered in her ear, kissing her head as she changed the baby's clothing. Tiredly, she put the baby to sleep and sung her a lullaby. "Come on.. Let's get to mine and Ryan's room, we can talk more in there."

message 182: by Ladybooksalott (new)

Ladybooksalott (silverstake) ((It's okay!))

Adam chuckled softly at her words, thinking she really was too nice for him. "Nah, she's better," he smiled gently, following her to little Libby's bedroom. It was really beautiful. "Night sweet Libby," he kissed the sleeping baby's forehead afterwards, smiling as she sang a lullaby. "Hmm," he mumbled in agreement, following her to her bedroom.

message 183: by [deleted user] (new)

Angel took his hand as she walked him into her bedroom. It was personalised with all sorts of pictures of her and the baby, Ryan and the baby, Adam and the baby... Also some of just her and just Ryan. Because it was both their room, Ryan had as much right to decorate. Hopefully he wouldn't come home that night. Angel sat on the small double bed and took Adam other hand, too, kissing his fingers. "I'm so glad we can finally sit and parent Libby together."

message 184: by Ladybooksalott (new)

Ladybooksalott (silverstake) Adam grimaced as he saw the pictures of her and Ryan, he couldn't help it. He still wasn't on good terms with the guy, seeing as the guy was trying to take Libby away from him and father her himself. "I'm glad too. I don't want Libby to think that Ryan's the father," he mumbled under his breath, sitting down next to her, pulling her into his arms.

message 185: by [deleted user] (new)

Ryan had actually made it out to everybody that he was the true father, and there wasn't much Angel could do about it because it'd just start horrible arguments. He'd always bought Libby such nice things and parented her so well when Adam wasn't there, but Adam didn't know that. "Yeah, I don't either..." she admitted, biting her lip as she pulled the biggest picture of Ryan and the baby out of it's frame and put it in the desk, replacing it with Adam and Libby.

message 186: by Ladybooksalott (new)

Ladybooksalott (silverstake) ((Sorrry!!! Don't forget about number 4 missy :D))

Adam bit his lip, sighing as he saw how she replaced the pictures. "Damn," he sighed softly. It was like Ryan was actually there with them, laughing at him. That was how it felt. "Angel.. is Ryan raising Libby as his own?" he asked in a dangerous tone, wanting the truth from her. He would be angry with her too, because she wasn't doing anything about it.

message 187: by [deleted user] (new)

(I know I know lol I'm just trying to get one more picture and a proper bio!:D:D:D:D)

Angel looked to the floor a bit her lip, unsure of how to reply. "Maybe a little bit... But, I just can't stop him. He always walks out and gets angry when I saw no, because I guess he was kinda, well, not my boyfriend.. but my companion, and I felt so horrible saying no. But she's too young to comprehend who's her mommy and who's her daddy. She doesn't even understand the words!" Angel protested, biting her lip. His tone scared her.

message 188: by Ladybooksalott (new)

Ladybooksalott (silverstake) ((Lol!))

"She's too young, she might be right now, but what in years? Are you still too scared, or feeling horrible to say no? Then Libby will see Ryan as her dad and not me. Do you know how that makes me feel, Angel? You haven't even thought about it, have you?" he shook his head, pulling his hand away. He wasn't that angry, just... disappointed.

message 189: by [deleted user] (new)

"Yes, Adam. I am too scared, because I know he'll just get angry. Either way I'm in trouble, because he's my best friend and I want him to help, but you're the father and you need to help... I don't want to be in the middle of this, it's not my place to choose this, because Ryan was there for me those 9 months as well as you, even if he's not the biological dad. I just, I can't do anything. If I say no to you, I get hell. If I say no to him, I get hell1"

message 190: by Ladybooksalott (new)

Ladybooksalott (silverstake) "I'm your boyfriend and the father. Ryan is just your best friend," he shook his head. "So even when you know I'm right, you choose him over me? You will still let him tell everyone that Libby is his? Fine then, enjoy your evening," he shook his head and got up, walking out of the room. He was disappointed and sad at the way she was handling things, it just wasn't right. He walked out of the house and got a cab.

message 191: by [deleted user] (new)

"No, Adam!" Angel called, frowning. "Please!" Angel called, feeling her eyes well up. She'd been left again. "I choose you, okay?" she asked, tears falling as he waited for the cab. "Please! Just stop with all this father business! Just enjoy the time you have with Libby, because Ryan's just going to come back and it'll all turn to hell again!" she begged, but he'd gone. Adam, please come back... I don't want to be alone tonight, we need to talk about this! Please? xxx Angel sent.

message 192: by Ladybooksalott (new)

Ladybooksalott (silverstake) "No, not this time, Angel," he shook his head at her. "Get Ryan out of your life and then we can talk," he tol her as he got into the cab. He ignored her messages and went home. He wasn't as nice as Jamie or as sweet as Jason, no, he was stubborn and strong-willed. The fact that she wouldn't give up on Ryan, who was ruining their relationship and chance on a family, was making him angry.

message 193: by [deleted user] (new)

Angel returned home and practically cried herself to sleep, waking up to screaming and crying. It was Libby's feeding time and Ryan still hadn't come home. He'd stayed round a friends and would for a while. Angel's day was miserable, because every minute she wanted to do something else, the baby began to cry. Ryan had also left with their card, so she had no money to buy food for herself and felt like she couldn't message Adam, because Ryan wasn't out of her life yet. It was lunch time on the third day without Adam, and Angel just burst into tears.

message 194: by Ladybooksalott (new)

Ladybooksalott (silverstake) Adam found himself missing Angel, but he wasn't giving in. He stayed at home, or practised with the band, but never was his usual chatty self. He was quiet and didn't speak unless someone asked him something. He was just... sad. He was sad because Angel didn't love him enough to start their family together. She loved Ryan and couldn't let go off him. Well.. that was nothing he could do.

message 195: by [deleted user] (new)

In the end, Angel gave in and called Adam. She desperately needed help, as Libby just wouldn't stop crying. "Adam, I know you're mad at me, but I need you right now. Please, just... just man up and help. I can't get Libby to stop crying, Ryan ran off with the money, I have no food... I just can't do this! I know, you want me to ditch Ryan, but if you truly gave a shit about me, you wouldn't be running off and you'd let me make my choices in my own time. We can argue later, okay? I just... I love you, and I need you."

message 196: by Ladybooksalott (new)

Ladybooksalott (silverstake) "Man up? Are you serious?" he shook his head wildly, even though she couldn't see. "I will come to help you, but that won't change anything between us. I love you, but if you aren't going to cut ties with Ryan, then you'll lose me. I'm not going to sit around and watch while he fathers, my Libby," he shook his head wildly. "I'll come over in a few minutes," he muttered, hanging up the phone.

message 197: by [deleted user] (new)

Angel managed to hand up the phone before him, she was too distraught to even say goodbye. Was he really doing this? Just because she wouldn't leave Ryan? God, it was too hard. Angela sat at the table and cried, unable to control herself. She hadn't slept in two days and was absolutely starving, needing the sleep and the support. She looked and felt awful, wanting Ryan home.

message 198: by Ladybooksalott (new)

Ladybooksalott (silverstake) Adam drove to her house with a basket full of food and some money. He knocked on the door and waited for her to open up. He really wasn't that mad at her, he was just sad that she wouldn't make a decision. But how was he supposed to cope with that? She didn't think once about his feelings.

message 199: by [deleted user] (new)

Angel rose from her seat and opened up the door, letting him in as she wiped her tears away. For just three days without him, it was becoming really hard. The flat was messy, her head hurt... Everything was just horrible. Angel couldn't choose between her best friend from birth and Adam, it just hurt. It hurt as much as it did for Adam, because it was just too hard.

message 200: by Ladybooksalott (new)

Ladybooksalott (silverstake) "Hey," he muttered. He gave her the box with food, and then the money. "How are you, and how's Libby?" he asked gently. He didn't want to talk about what had happened, just because she'd turn it around and say that he needed to give her time. He had given her a year. A full year after Libby's birth. It hadn't helped, obviously.
