As to the songs, I really liked the Misty Mountain song the dwarves sing in the first movie. Gave me chills when I heard it on the trailer.

With Potter loved the books and only really loved the first movie. Haven't seen 5, 6, or the 7s.With LOTR. Loved the books and found the movies to be beautiful!! My plan is to reread the entire series including the Hobbt, and watch all of the movies, after all of the Hobbit films are out.
