If Americans want to act like idiots at home it's nobody else's business...but when they leave the country they make us all look bad. It's sort of like when people calling themselves Christian act in an unChristian way. Then people think Christians act "that way".

At home, meaning where nobody can see you, I agree. Walk around bare-assed all you want. But if you go out in your underwear, whether that's to the corner store OR the Eiffel Tower, then people are free to think you're equally skeevy for it. It doesn't matter whether it is occurring in the US or abroad... if you're in public acting like a dumbass, then people are going to think you're a dumbass. That's all I'm saying.

It's so easy to get caught out these days too because everywhere there are people with cell phone cameras. Do something stupid and it's a guarantee that you will end up on someone's FB, Instagram and/or Twitter page.
We saw an accident during lunch time today and there were like 10 people in a matter of a minute all over the scene with their cell phones.
