Kindle Direct Eliminates Minimum Thresholds

Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) announced today that the minimum thresholds for payment to publishers and authors who are using Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) has been eliminated.

This seems like a definite step in the right direction for authors just getting started or for author offering bargain books. It can take some time to ramp up to speed, and with the delay in Amazon's payout schedules anyway, I think this is a great step.
