Hey guys! I have been wanting to read these books for a long time! I don't know if it's better to start with The Infernal Devices series or The Mortal Instruments. I read The City of Bones a few months back, should I keep going with that? Also, feel free to send me a friend request!

I'm not really sure :pBut whenever you decide to read TID .. Pm me so I could read it with you :)
I have been planning on reading it .. I just need some motivation :p
Think either way is fine. Each set has its own story and you won't have a problem understanding them. That said, though, I very much liked already knowing where some of the characters that are in TID would end up in TMI. All the stories are interconnected and I love seeing the interaction. Also, IMHO, TID is better, so if you start with it, you might not get the same impact from TMI (which is also awesome, but not as emotional as TID). Sorry, I'm not much help, lol. But in any case, I read TMI first, then TID.

I will! I'll probably start it soon!
Probably The Infernal Devices. While that trilogy isn't a prequel, it is set before The Mortal Instruments and is complete, whereas that last book in the TMI series has yet to be released. If you start with TID, there's no chance you'll have to wait to complete the series before starting the next.
If I hv to choose between TMI and TID. I'll definitely choose TID.I think it 10times better than TMI. not that I said that TMI isn't good. it was really good, but I enjoyed victorian setting genre anyway.
what Im try to say is, who can resist Will's charm !?!
