Celeste (CeCe) Shreeve was in the cafeteria & she meets Tony McDawn (Tink; gay, stellar human) they are Jr’s in HS in Kansas. She was adopted & her new parents who are African American. Next she meets a hot guy named; Rylan. Jennifer she did not like. Tink gave Celeste his cell #. He offered her a ride but she wanted to walk home. On the way home a big bump appeared in the road & got bigger/bigger. Then a black lump turned into a ball & sped down the road it looked like a bird & flew away.
Celeste got home & her mom had made chocolate chip cookies. Celeste dad Harold Shreeve was in China. The road started doing it again & lumps turned into humanoid shapes. Rylan tired talking to her but he had no voice tone. The huge pavement birds flew at her, was she having a nightmare or losing her mind?
Celeste did not feel well & Rylan took her Rylan to the nurse. Her dad came to visit. Celeste heard a voice saying to her Rua, Oscail an doras (Red, open the door). Rylan & she looked out the window & black bird squawks were filling the air, students appeared frozen in time. Later Celeste’s mom/dad could see them.
Dr. Kara Ramone (Tuatha) the school counselor by request from her parents saw Celeste. She had a birthday party & when it was over a creature grabbed her in her room Rylan (1/2-Sidhe, 1/2-human) saved her from the Sidhe (crossovers into a different world). They lose power after a while & must return to their own world. Rylan told Celeste he was Tuatha de Dannan (the People of the Mists). Tuatha de Dannan & the Sidhe are descendants from the goddess Dana.
Celeste had purple flames on her skin. Sidhe have special affinities in nature (swarm of crows). Rylan later kissed Celeste. Sergeant Grimes came to investigate Tink’s room, it was a mess. Jennifer Macci was missing also, blood everywhere in her room to. Fayga used her friends to get to Celeste, Kara helped Fayga, Celeste got rid of Reven, Reven’s mate was killed, Kara tried to kill Celeste, & Regina killed Kara or did she commit suicide?
What happened to Tink? Which of the 2 creatures Tuatha de Dannan or the Sidhe will rule? Will HS resume to somewhat normal?
Paranormal? Easy to read/follow story line sequence, great characters, no grammar errors. Might even be a scifi movie. It didn’t wow me so I will have to rate it 4/5 stars.
