Interesting. I haven't come across this author before. The trailer does say that it is Dark Fiction.

Sure it's horror.

I have mixed feelings about her work. I enjoyed two of her novels, but two others made no sense to me. I think I like her short stories better.

I loved Silk but as with Poppy Z. Brite's first novel, I'm not sure I'd enjoy it as much now that I'm not an angsty youth any more. The sequel, Murder of Angels, was one that didn't make any sense to me. In fact, at the end of the book, one of the characters even says that she doesn't understand anything that happened.

Threshold was pretty good at first, but at some point it jumped off the tracks and left me going "huh??" Low Red Moon was better.
