Willa walked in with her nose in the History of Elementals text. A few people stared at her as she made it to a seat and settled in without ever looking up. But when the class started she again was confronted with the introductions, and review of the class material. Apparently in this class you would learn the practical applications of your particular power and the ethics behind when to use them. Willa listened closely until the end and packed up to go to her final class, self defense.

Another class Mara was quiet in. But she didn't skip the chance at introductions. She stood up and started confidently "I am Mara Harper, and I have the power of Illusions." When she was asked to demonstrate she requested the use of the lights. She needed a quick distraction in order for what she had in mind to work and her small signal mirror would not work on everyone at once.

Ms. Karpouzes agreed so she went to the wall by the door and flicked the lights off briefly. When the lights came back on each individual person saw only an empty room for a moment. She flicked the lights again and everything reset, all had been dead silent before but soon everyone started chattering. Some thought it was cool, others were upset. It didn't matter to Mara she again took her seat and the teacher moved onto the next person.

Once class ended, she got a few dirty looks and no one spoke to her, but she didn't mind she would rather not talk to Yuppies. Seems she would be spending lunch alone.

Alex laughs to herself as she finishes up her next class. She did all her homework during classes, so now she can run off to work. Even some extra time to play music on the street! She smiles at the thought, and time flies. As soon as class is over, she runs to get her guitar.

Matt watches the time go by, glancing at Alex occasionally. He rises as the class ends, and heads for the door. "Mr. Williams?" The teacher calls. *Dang.* Matt thinks turning. "Yeah?" He says, expecting a lecture. "Pleasant having you in class today." She says with a smile, and Matt walks off, puzzled.
