I binged Heroes on Netflix so i could watch Heroes Reborn this season.

This was not a particularly good use of time.

I saw the first 2 of Reborn and haven't kept up... Is it worth it?

So far its still trying to find its legs. Shaky and meh.

Plus i just dont like any of the new characters. They all suck, especially the bearded dude that hangs with Noah.

The only interesting one is the guy who played Chuck.

I'm definitely gonna wait until Reborn is over and see what the critical consensus is. I was already burned by Heroes, not looking to go down that road again.

First episode of Flash was pretty cool. (view spoiler)[They did the obligatory "hero pushing everyone away out of guilt/fear" thing, but I'm glad they got it out in an episode and everyone else was like, "Nah, bro. Fuck that." (hide spoiler)]

First ep of Supernatural was pretty good. Definitely curious to see where this season is going. I loved the meta bit about bumper stickers. And (view spoiler)[activity in the box!

I'm still thinking Michael and Lucy are going to have to make a return to fight the Darkness. (And I guess Adam can come out, too, if he's not, like, permanently damaged from the ordeal. (hide spoiler)]


As for Sleepy Hollow... all I can say is "Why, Ichabod? Why did you cut your hair?!"

(Actually, I read an interview with Tom Mison and he said he hated the wig. It was dirty and itchy and blech. But I still miss it.)

Oh, about the ep, I will say I love the Weird History stuff they have going on, but sometimes it's so over the top I have to pause the episode and just laugh. ;>

This, AND, I have no intention to attempt to go back and watch Old Heroes. I just read some of the episode descriptions for season TWO and can't remember any of it. Clearly it was gripping television.

I don't think you have to go back and rewatch anything. I think it's new stories with (mostly) new people, and they'll probably through in reminders of anything important that carries over.

Anybody else watching Limitless? I really like this tv show (never saw the movie). The main character is appealing.

Also really enjoying The Grinder (new Rob Lowe sitcom) and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.

If it's not obvious, I finally gave up on all the humorless shows on TV. (Such as Walking Dead, Bastard Executioner (although it had token moments of levity), Quantico, etc)

My daughter and I both wanted to see Mr Robot so we watched the first episode on Amazon and then immediately put in a request for the complete season from the library. (We only have digital antenna and Netflix subscription.) Now we just have to wait for its DVD release - in January!

On Sunday I binged Black Mirror on Netflix Instant. Really well done look at our relationships with technology, celebrity, death, consumerism, voyeurism, etc. but definitely uncomfortable to watch. My favorite episode was Season 1, Episode 3, "The Entire History of You." I was really happy to hear that Netflix purchased a third season.

And last night I finished the third and final season of Hemlock Grove. Not mind-blowing or anything. Loose ends were tied up, a couple times a little too abruptly for my tastes, and wrongs were righted.

My husband is watching it - so I get a good deal of it. I kinda dislike the MC.

He's also watching Blindspot. OMG. The male MC of this show over-emotes so badly. And I swear the writers must all be female romance writers cause ever TSTL plotline from TSTL romance books are showing up here. Which means it's probably going to be a hit. And give me the hives.

Is it just me or is that thing on Wesley Snipes head able to move on its own? I think it sorta looks like a black hole or something. Kills me every time i see it.

The primary reason I quit watching Blindspot (another of the humorless shows out right now) was the male lead. Was he like that on the cable action show? I couldn't tell if it was poor acting or just a character I didn't like.

The guy on Limitless reminds me of Chris Pratt (from Parks & Rec, and now several blockbuster movies).

I just started watching Blindspot. It's ridiculous but interesting. My issue with the male lead is his wooden performance.

The one show that never disappoints me is The Good Wife. Great writing, great acting, always interesting. The writers do a nice job balancing ongoing storylines with the "story of the week," that is usually wrapped up in that episode. They also balance the drama with a nice dose of humor.

I know... To purchase a .22 target rifle in TN my name and history have to be vetted by the TBI (Tennessee Bureau of Investigation) (No really, every "gun" purchase gets "hot wired" to the TBI) yet the girl gets an FBI jacket and is apparently an honorary agent.

I haven't even noticed anything on W.Snipe's head. I probably will now.

Supernatural is one that I've seen a lot of the episodes but I would really like to just sit down and sink my teeth into. I've recently watched the first two episodes of Jessica Jones. David Tenant is scaring the $#!t out of me and I haven't even really seen him yet!!!!! My husband and I have also started Dark Matter and River.
I've started Legendand The Principal, plus, my daughter and I are enjoying Person of Interest and Master Chef Junior.

Unfortunately, I've been so busy, I can't really binge watch anything the way I like to, so I have no idea how I'm going to keep up with any of these shows.

The new season on Endeavour started. Yay!

The first episode was weird, though. A strange homage/pastiche of Great Gatsby, with a homicide twist.

It kind of made me think of the Sherlock special (Abominable Bride), though, because (view spoiler)[Sherlock's like, "It's not twins. It's never twins," but in Endeavour is was totally twins... (hide spoiler)] (<- spoiler for both)

The holiday was great for specials. The DW special was awesome - best episode of the season. The Sherlock special was lots of fun, and Downton Abbey tied the series off nicely.

We also binged Jessica Jones over the holiday. I liked it - but I think Daredevil was better. The characters just weren't as likable, or something.

Yes, I did. I actually recorded the first episode - they aired a sneak peek a couple of weeks ago right after The Expanse.

Hey, someone told me that The Rook was optioned for a TV show. Anyone have any news about that? I loved The Rook.

Shannara Chronicles was pretty good. At first I was a little concerned, as some of the acting was coming across as a bit CW. But either I got used to it and/or it worked itself out. Pretty soon I was hooked.

The sets and costumes and effects are fantastic too.
