Me too! I also love Star Trek and Angel, Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I used to watch Mash religiously.

I love Teen Wolf, particularly the new season, Season 5.

But I'm getting hooked on Arrow. Midway through the first season.

message 756: by Nyssa (new)

Nyssa | 2023 comments I'm with you Chris. Just started Season 2 of Arrow last night.
I do find it a bit frustrating that the main character is the worst actor on show, though. He can be bit forced and/or wooden. But, I still like the program overall.

message 757: by Jeremy (new)

Jeremy (darkk) | 52 comments I'm really enjoying "The Newsroom," myself - I like to think of it as "Schadenfreude, the Series." I fully recognize my occasional pettiness, but cherish the warmth of proverbially roasting enemies all the same.

message 758: by Craig (new)

Craig I just finished "Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell" last night. I thought it was well done.

Mike (the Paladin) (thepaladin) | 1381 comments I forgot they were going to attempt that for TV.

message 760: by Craig (new)

Craig It was a BBC production. The last episode aired last Saturday night on BBCAmerica.

message 761: by Charlton (new)

Charlton (cw-z) I watched it, I liked the show.

colleen the convivial curmudgeon (blackrose13) | 2976 comments I keep forgetting to look for JS&MN. I'll have to find it online somewhere.

message 763: by Charlton (new)

Charlton (cw-z) I've been watching Mr.Robot,I do like that one.

message 764: by Craig (new)

Craig Mr. Robot is the bomb! And Malek is amazing.

message 765: by Craig (new)

Craig Humans (the tv show) has gotten very interesting.

message 766: by Charlton (new)

Charlton (cw-z) I watch Humans, you're right, interesting to say the least.

message 767: by [deleted user] (new)

I am currently watching Waywood Pines and hooked!! So going to read the books too!

message 768: by Charlton (new)

Charlton (cw-z) @Anna-I heard the books were very good,in fact, the review said he/she was going to watch the series. :)

message 769: by Craig (new)

Craig I'm slowly working my way through Wayward Pines. It hasn't grabbed me yet, but I have heard that it will eventually.

message 770: by [deleted user] (new)

What episode are you on?! It grabbed me from about episode 4 ish x

message 771: by [deleted user] (new)

@charlton yes I think I will have too read the books eventually. I can't do it to close to the series the same with books and films I like to love them both individually. Although the books are always better!!

message 772: by [deleted user] (new)

Sorry guys using the app so it's Not letting me reply as easily! X
I love criminal minds but it's what I watch with my mum so way behind.
Buggy the vampire slayer is my staple x

message 773: by Chris , cookie guilt (new)

Chris Haught (haughtc) | 2450 comments I watched the first episode of Wayward Pines, but didn't get back to the rest of it. I guess it was close enough to the book that I didn't feel I needed to rehash it.

message 774: by Craig (new)

Craig Episode 4 or so (Wayward Pines)is about where I am. I will expect the hooks to engage very soon. :)

I would still suggest reading the books. They are different. In my opinion MUCH BETTER.
That show made me angry. The acting was WEAK! And they were well known actors. It's like they took little snippets from all the books, mixed with some of their own ideas, threw it in a blender and that show was the sub par result.

colleen the convivial curmudgeon (blackrose13) | 2976 comments We watched Strange & Norrell this past week. I don't remember enough detail from the book, but Jer reckoned it followed pretty well. Now I'm sad it's over, and feel like a reread will be necessary at some point.

I have avoided this one cause I have the book but haven't read it.

Mike (the Paladin) (thepaladin) | 1381 comments I watched the first episode. Norrell is portrayed a little more "retiring" than I'd pictured him. I can see where the story will be a bit collapsed but they seem to be capturing it at least in the first show, I'll probably follow it up if it stays on "On Demand" long enough.

message 779: by K. (new)

K. (maiel) | 6 comments Watching The Forsyte Saga. Pretty epic adaptation. I haven't read the books. Interesting and infuriating twists of fate.

message 780: by Craig (new)

Craig I'm really looking forward to Wednesday's finale of Mr. Robot! It's the most interesting show I've watched in a while.

message 781: by Chris , cookie guilt (new)

Chris Haught (haughtc) | 2450 comments I just watched the premiere of The Bastard Executioner.

Wow. Add that to the list of Must Watch.

message 782: by Charlton (new)

Charlton (cw-z) Right there with you Chris!

I was impressed...but that's just me,I'm all about the vengeance.

colleen the convivial curmudgeon (blackrose13) | 2976 comments Finally watched S5 of Downton Abbey. I'd been putting it off 'cause I was less than enamoured with S4, but I enjoyed binging S5.

(view spoiler)

Also been watching S2 of Gotham. I'm enjoying the "Rise of the Villains" thing, and I'm interested in seeing where they go with it. I'm kinda wondering if (view spoiler)

message 784: by Leland (new)

Leland (lelandhw) | 63 comments After Viola Davis won an Emmy for it, we checked out "How To Get Away With Murder". Oh.My.God it is so good (particularly Viola Davis).

We also got hooked on "Ray Donovan", just finished season 3. Amazing stuff!

MrsJoseph *grouchy* (mrsjoseph) | 5312 comments I'm being force fed:

- Limitless - Its ok but I still think the idea is more than a little stupid

- The Player - That thing on Wesley Snipes head is ALIVE. O_O

- Rosewood - While I love Morris Chestnut('s face), I hate the demeanor of the character he's playing. I have a very low threshold for smarmy characters. Sadly, TV is chock full of them. I want to pass but...

- Blindspot - OMFG. I DREAD this time of year. I'm not a big TV fan while hubby is. So Blindspot is the Romance Equivalent of OMGWTFBBQ. I don't even understand why they are giving this chick a gun. *facepalm*

I'm still avoiding Minority Report (Oh, God the acting!!!!) but I'm sure I'll be force fed some of that soon, too.

Mike (the Paladin) (thepaladin) | 1381 comments I know...I tried part of the first episode of Minority Report.

message 787: by Charlton (new)

Charlton (cw-z) Yeah,I might have to let Minority Report go:)
Supergirl comes out this month. And next is Into The Badlands.

But I do watch Blindspot and am liking it.

message 788: by Chris , cookie guilt (new)

Chris Haught (haughtc) | 2450 comments I've been recording Minority Report, but no time to watch. That bad? That might actually be a relief, since I'm trying to catch up on Agents of Shield and Arrow, and still want to binge watch Flash and Gotham until I'm caught up.

Mike (the Paladin) (thepaladin) | 1381 comments I neber got into Flash...been thinking of trying it again. Watching Big Bang tonight. This one's better than the last couple (especially the first show of the season). I'm laughing again.

S.H.I.E.L.D. seems to be going pretty good this season. I've been watching all the back episodes of Strike Back. Other than that not much I'm really into.

Holding out for the new season of Grimm at the end of the month.

message 790: by Charlton (new)

Charlton (cw-z) Grimm is coming back? Good to hear!

Mike (the Paladin) (thepaladin) | 1381 comments On Oct.30...Halloween.

S.H.I.E...."

My husband declares that The Flash is the best show on tv right now.

Mike (the Paladin) (thepaladin) | 1381 comments I watched the first few and sort of faded away. I see the ads and keep thinking I'll try to get back to it but never do. I liked Arrow at first but then it became so "soap operay" I stopped watching it to.

May try Flash again if it's on On Demand.

message 795: by Chris , cookie guilt (new)

Chris Haught (haughtc) | 2450 comments Flash begins on Netflix today. Season 3 of Arrow tomorrow.

It's a little too NA/YA angsty for me...but I have a low threshold for tv period.

Mike (the Paladin) (thepaladin) | 1381 comments Not a huge TV fan myself, mostly it keeps me company. I'll occasionally find one I then binge watch.
