Awesome!
... odd, somehow I seem to have missed an entire chapter. I really have to check some of these infrequent updaters more often. On the other hand I have a bunch of MAoH to read now. :)

I'm hoping that we'll get to see Sergio's powers and stuff this chapter. I want to see him fight crime!
Holy cow. A demon indeed. I think you're going to get your wish - looks like Sergio is about to awaken in some way. Should be pretty awesome.
I reread everything to refresh my memory before catching up. It was great being reminded of how much I adore Simon's responses to everything. His reaction to Julius' condition at the beginning of chapter 2 is so amusing.
The villains are really interesting. It's tough to make characters that are both vicious killers and sympathetic (actually come to think of it I would have said impossible before now...)

A couple more pages. The latest: http://www.minoractsofheroism.com/com...
Slowly filling in the blanks. I love how Sergio is using crayon drawings to explain what the demon told him.

"He said his name's Eurynomos or The Devourer or Lord of the Flies or Father of the Dead or Master. But he said I could call him Grandpa."
Quite possibly my new favorite quote from the comic.
Sergio's calm, satisfied and loving expressions as he explains that he just learned he's a demon spawn are brilliant and add a lot of layers to this sure-to-be-troubling development. And Julius trying to control his terror is perfect.

I immediately knew this page was going to make me smile just from the opening caption...
Cute stuff. A nice moment of seeing the super-kids just be kids (the wonderfully unafraid and judgement impaired creatures they often are).

Me too. The central cast of the three kids really drives the comic and is more fun than the adult plots. The fact that they all feel and act like real kids that just happen to have super powers is one of the things I really love about the comic.

The latest page.
The last few pages have shown us more of Nilus and her as the King of Atlantis. It''s really cool. She shows a different side to her people than she does to everyone else. She wants to appear strong and cute in order to inspire them, even when she's exhausted.
I like the added dimension to Nilus too. Samekh's also developing nicely as a character.
The last couple pages have been fantastic. The total nonchalance here leading to Simon's spit take is great, and the follow up is classic Simon.

Am I supposed to find the villains adorable and sympathetic?
