Maple and Dawn really wanted their baby sister to survive and become part of their family. They poured all of their love to their baby sister because they went to visit her every day. Finally, all of that love payed off and their baby sister's heart started to thump faster. That meant Maple and Dawn"s baby sister was alive and part of a family. does anyone else feel relieved too?

Yes!! I was also scared when Dawn was sick and was almost dying in the river and Maple saved her. I was relieved then too. What was your favorite part?

My favorite part was when the baby's heart started to thump.

I was sure that someone would die in the story. I was really surprised with the happy ending!
