Does anyone know if immersion reading (bimodal reading) works on a Kindle fire HD 7" in the UK. Thank you

Whispersync for Audio using Audible books is NOT working in the UK.You can download an English accent robot voice to read to you as you go through a book on the Kindle Fire HDX - I presume the same on the Fire HD. However the reading and text sometimes get out of sync
I prefer a (slightly) robotic voice to some of the more mannered readings on Audible.
However the app Voice Dream for iOS is far, far superior for getting Kindle books read back to you whilst you read them. I've used this almost exclusively for the past few months and have read a great deal more.
Nicholas thank you for taking the time to reply. In the help document for the app Voice Dream for iOS, say's that DRM protected ebooks in ibooks and kindle cannot be opened in Voice Dream reader.
But I downloaded it in any case, being dyslexic this will be a very useful tool to me.
I use the text-to-speech on the Kindle fire HD but it does not highlight the words as it reads.
But after saying that the Kindle fire is nothing short then a miracle opening up the magical world of books.
Voice Dream highlights words as it reads them to you. It'll even keep the focus on the middle of the page so you can keep your eye on the same line.It can download docs from your Evernote Account or your Pocket account etc. Most of my random internet reading goes into it from Pocket. My Pocket queue has never been shorter.
Many of the books you will want to read are available as epubs from various sources.
You'll be shocked to hear that some people use an app like Calibre to get their (legitimately purchased) kindle book, convert it to epub and then read AND listen to it on Voice Dream.
