Mistake when adding isbn13 and adding a new edition

I tried to add my version of a book using isbn13. It seems that I can't combine it with isbn10 version.

These two are exactly the same book:

I tried also to add a new edition of a book. I found out that the original book is in the Goodreads and did not use the Add new edition button. This is the English language edition:

Why Goodreads does not calculate automatically the missing isbn10 or isbn13 for all books in the database?

I have fixed the ISBN issue; there is now only one edition with both the 10- and 13-digit ISBN. Unfortunately, GR does not automatically convert these. You can find a converter here.

I also combined the Finnish edition with the rest of the editions.

Thanks for the isbn converter link. There are several other nice isbn converters in the net I know already. I have also a python script which I have used to convert my own book database from isbn10 to isbn13 (check https://pypi.python.org/pypi/python-s...)

I have been testing Goodreads so that I know whether to import all my books. I have to study the import system so that I know how to use it correctly and how to add books Goodreads does not know. I could add some books manually, but not all 2000 books.

I tried to add some Finnish language Rei Shimura books and found out that there is at least one wrong isbn in the Goodreads database. This:

show that the isbn is 9789524596 which is an obvious mistake. It has only 10 numbers, but it begins 978. I don't own that edition of the book, but The National Bibliography of Finland says that there is a paperback edition published 2006 (additional printing 2007) and it says that ISBN is 952-459-643-1 and ISBN13 is 978-952-459-643-5. Could you fix that also?
